This is funny because my first asmr experience was one of my friends going through my pencil case and softly asking if it was okay and I was basically paralyzed lmao.
Yes!! One of my first triggers as a kid. So good, thank you for this! It reminded me of a time when I spent the night at a friends house and she had to wake up earlier than me and I pretended to still be asleep while she got ready but was really just listening to her dig through her makeup bag! Haha! Back when asmr didn't have a name and I just thought I was odd.
for me it's how in school when the lesson starts but someone forgot to take their books out, so they frantically rummage through their bag. i miss that.
My first "tingly" experience was in kindergarten. I've always had really long and thick hair so everyone, even the teacher would play with it. I loved that and still do. Another one was when my best friend once made some sort of "purring" sound right into my ear. It relaxed me so much. Even back scratches work amazing on me. Sounds are somehow less effective
I'm not sure what the purpose of this activity was but there was a few times in class when we were supposed to write something on another person's back and they had to try and guess what we were writing and the feeling of that on my back gave me the most amazing tingles haha
A big childhood ASMR trigger for me was in elementary school, we had those oversized children's pencils in a plastic cup that the teacher would pass around. Each kid would take a pencil out of the cup and that sound was soo relaxing. I would love a video where that is a feature. It doesn't exist anywhere yet that I have found. Thanks!
I think my first asmr experience was watching this girl draw and then trace my hand, I kept wanting her to trace it again cause I loved how it felt haha. Also, I've always always always gotten asmr from watching people do things that they're concentrating a lot on, like drawing or something.:)
My class teacher in elementary school made a joke (in a good way) of me, after I wrote in essay, that I like to watch when people do something. She made a joke sort of "2 things you can watch forever: fire and someone work" :D
schönling Ooooh, Good one. You just gave me a weird little flash-back. I think I had the same experience back when I was in school. Demz were some good tingles!
This used to be one of my favourite sounds in school and I always used to try to get the best pencil case for the best sound haha. I'm so glad I'm not just weird!!
When i was like 5-6ish wen we sat at the front of the class this girl was allways fiddling around with a little bucket of textas, the sounds gave me them asmr tingles i didnt get the idea of asmr back then but the tingles from the sound of her raising textas and dropping them back down, them tingles were relaxing as i swear :)
Ahhh this is amazing! Have been struggling to find anything to give me tingles but this is just heaven! I used to love going through my pencil case in class as a kid, especially when reading for some reason! Thank you for the vid :)
I think the first time i ASMRed was during a hair cut when I was young. To this day if my head is touched I doze off almost instantly. Kind of seems unsafe now that I think about it... I had plenty of other random triggers as well. I just remember about 2 years ago listening to a progressive relaxation video and coming across my first asmr video so I looked it up and I was like "There are others like me!" Lol. Excitement through the roof.
So strange how I discovered ASMR. Thanks to Mrs Alan and Mrs Cahill reading questions close to my ears in examinations, and tracing their fingers along the words in the questions, and some help from WhisperCrystal's whisper stories, I've finally discovered ASMR. Man this took too good damn long.
I was in class today. Opened pencil case and realized that a pencil case would be an amazing trigger. Come home. Trying but failing to sleep. Go to favorite ASMR artist. BAM. A pencil case video. Absolutely great video. Helped so much! Thanks
Oh wow. I've been watching ASMR videos for a few months now, and they're very calming and relaxing to me, but this is the first ASMR video that actually gave me tingles. Very cool!
One of my biggest childhood triggers was going through plastic barbie accessories... Like shoes, brushes, belts, bracelets, necklaces.. I remember having a bin full of them!
My first one in school sound wise was when my principal would walk up and down the halls and you can hear the quiet thumping and clicking of the heels but not too loud. Or I think it was when we would read and the page turning gave me such ecstasy and it still does now. Touch wise is when my friend would play with my hair and is my crush today!
Do you use headphones!? I get ASMR but so far only ever in person. Im wondering if the quality of headphones/speakers affects whether these ASMR clips work for everyone else... if its working by just watching you tube thats pretty sweet. Id love ASMR on tap... cheers
My first childhood ASMR experience was when I was in basketball and I was wearing a uniform jersey. One of my friends was bored while we were prepping for a game and she started to trace my number and my last name on my back. Extreme tingles. Also, I had super long hair as a five year old and whenever I would sit on the carpet with the other kids during school, the other girls would play and braid my hair and I loved it and still do. Now that I think of it, I've had so many early ASMR experiences!
One of my childhood triggers were when I asked someone to help me out with something and they would speak softly and I would say, " I still don't get it " but I understood the whole thing :P
Good video. I think during many classes many of us were a little zoned out, which probably helped with the ASMR experience. I remember stroking a ruler across the back of my neck to get the tingles going and it would totally chill me out. Lol.
my first asmr experience was in yr 7 when a girl was giving out plastic wallets to keep our books safe in , giving each individual wallet slowly she would say "Okay there u go" in a soft tone.... Soooo relaxing
My first asmr experience was when i was in kindergarten and we had these shells. My friend would always put them up to my ears and it would make the best sound.
Yes i love this sound you should do one with one of the plastic pencil boxes also a typing video that is one of my all time favorite child hood tingles
I enjoyed the Video. I like the sound of Pens and Pencils rubbing together and also the sounds of the Pens and Pencils and Markers inside Pencil Cases too. Thank you very much for sharing your video with us. And i like the sounds of markers and pens on paper when writing or doodling too. It's Very Calming and Soothing and Relaxing. And so is Soft Whispering.
do you think you could do a video just like this one but with no talking? i absolutely love the sound of markers being moved around together, especially when you hold them in your hand and make them rub against each other by the microphone - and i havent found a video of this quality that does just that anywhere else
Lol I thought I was the only one who got off to the sound of someone digging through pens and pencils in the middle of class. This and when the teacher hands out papers fresh out the printer. Oooooh yea.
4 years Ago when I was still in highschool a girl opened her umbrella and slowly wiped it off from raindrops. The rubbing sound of tissue against umbrella cloth completely blacked me out.
I always lied and told my teacher I needed help on my math test and she would sit down and walk me through one question for 5 minutes and whisper in my ear to tell me how to do it and when it was my turn i didnt know what to do because I was too busy getting tingles
I'm in high school and when I was in elementary school I would always feel tingly when one of my classmates would open their pencil pouch and look for a pencil. And from elementary school to now I always like the sound of the teacher writing on the chalkboard
I remember being in the 2nd grade and feeling tingles when my teacher would read to us and we had to follow along she had such a nice voice lol basically my favorite teacher I ever had
I always got tingles from people playing with my hair and going to the doctor's. Idk why the doctor's gave me tingles, maybe because of the soft touching with stethoscopes and stuff like that
Sounds good :) I have a gum chewing video, maybe that'll do the trick too. Feel free to check it out :) [ASMR ♥] Mouth Sounds, Chewing Gum, Tapping, Crinkling (requested)
Ah those ink cartridges remind me so much of school. You had to buy them in huge packs and because I was an asshole as a kid (we all were a bit, right?) I used to place them under a chair leg, sit down, and watch them explode up a classroom wall (or someone's leg)... Those were the days.
It would be awesome if you could make an ASMR video with that kind of plastic bag you held the ink in... I get really good triggers for just those few seconds of you crinkling that bag! I can't find that type of bag being used in ASMR anywhere, it's all plastic shopping bags or thicker plastic that don't make the same sound :(

i loved the sounds of pencils in school, in art i always got projects done so i could put my head down and hear the pencils writing&drawing.
Omg me too!!! I thought I was crazy!!
I'm not sure what the purpose of this activity was but there was a few times in class when we were supposed to write something on another person's back and they had to try and guess what we were writing and the feeling of that on my back gave me the most amazing tingles haha
Omg we used to do that in class and it was and still is my biggest trigger :D
***** if u could find a way to translate that feeling through a youtube video i would totally love you forever lol
I have thought about a lot already, I hope I'll find a way :)

A girl in my class in school used to play with my watch whilst I still had it on and I think that was my first experience ⛄️
Sounds interesting :)

I'm addicted to this one. Best pencil video I've found. I've looked a long time to find a pencil vid that works, the others are too forced. Perfect!
Maybe do another series like this now that you have a larger following?
I loveee the case sounds w/make up or markers
I appreciate that you appreciate your viewers and you try to answer as many comments as possible.
I find myself coming back to this one a lot, definitely one of my favorite asmr videos.

Watching people read while whispering quietly or the doctor/nurse writing details while I wait, looove those.
Oh wow. I've been watching ASMR videos for a few months now, and they're very calming and relaxing to me, but this is the first ASMR video that actually gave me tingles. Very cool!
Really? This is so cool! I'm so happy it worked for you :)
Writing on a chalkboard or flipping through a textbook would be a good childhood trigger! School always had the best sounds lol
my childrenhood trigger was in kindergarten; we used to take pens from a reed basket in colouring time; the sounds of pens were tingling me.
One of my biggest childhood triggers was going through plastic barbie accessories... Like shoes, brushes, belts, bracelets, necklaces.. I remember having a bin full of them!
I feel like this cured my insomnia...
My first one in school sound wise was when my principal would walk up and down the halls and you can hear the quiet thumping and clicking of the heels but not too loud. Yes, I love it, definitely one of my first triggers ever, so good and a soothing voice doesn't get much better
Thank you :)
I love when you shuffled the highlighters I your hand. So many tingles!!!! :)
My first experience with asmr was when we got headlice checks in elementary school
Probably because it's like getting a head massage :D
very true :)
the first video of yours I watched and still my favorite. i always thought i was a weirdo going into a trance in school watching people sort things.
When my friend would look through her pencil bag, it would make me sleepy and calm. 🙈
This definitely brought back memories of being in school :-) Great video!
Yay, I'm happy to hear that :)
Ahh brings me back to my first ASMR experiences in elementary school. Thank you for this wonderful video! Plenty of tingles as always :)

my first asmr experience was when my little sister was playing spa makeover with me and was doing my make up and hair
this melted my brain in the best possible way, especially how you say "pink" !! great video, can't wait to watch more from you :)

Do you realise what ‘got off’ means?
4 years Ago when I was still in highschool a girl opened her umbrella and slowly wiped it off from raindrops. The rubbing sound of tissue against umbrella cloth completely blacked me out.
Sounds like something that could trigger me too :)
Those fat Crayola markers always did it for me. The soft pop of the cap and the way they sounded when you colored with them.
I always lied and told my teacher I needed help on my math test and she would sit down and walk me through one question for 5 minutes and whisper in my ear to tell me how to do it and when it was my turn i didnt know what to do because I was too busy getting tingles

+Zachary Tressler Same here! :)
:) all that learning I missed from zoning out with tinges...
Haha, that's what I keep thinking :) But it's worth it
Applying a temporary tattoo was reallyyyyy good for me!
Haha you mean those you apply with a wet sponge :D I loved those!
Folding and/or cutting paper, for example making paper airplanes and origami in general!
I remember being in the 2nd grade and feeling tingles when my teacher would read to us and we had to follow along she had such a nice voice lol basically my favorite teacher I ever had
that's how i fell
haha, i hated my second grade teacher. i’m 100% sure she yelled at everyone in the class at least once, and even made me cry in a class.
Amazing :D
I remember this in elementary
Two thumbs up
Thank you, glad you enjoyed :)
my friend digs in her pouch and still has things in pacagez and mess with it and it gives me the tingles
Yea!!!tingles!!!
Yay, I'm glad it worked :)
Really nostalgic in addition to tingly haha
Haha, glad to hear that :)
Great video. Thanks for sharing. reminded me of study hall when I was a kid lol
Also, hearing the teacher cut papers (especially laminated paper) or any kind of paper ripping made me totally zone out as a little kid
That gets me too :) I have made a video with these sounds, feel free to check it out :)
[ASMR ♥] Paper: Ripping, crumbling, paper sounds
Lamy makes some great fountain pens! I use my LAMY blue Al-Star all the time.
**pen high give**
I used a Lamy Safari in Shiny Black untill someone stole it. Ever since then I use a 2013 LE Lamy Safari in Neon Yellow with an extra fine nib!
I always got tingles from people playing with my hair and going to the doctor's. Idk why the doctor's gave me tingles, maybe because of the soft touching with stethoscopes and stuff like that
Was having a boring Sunday until now.
I hope that changed :)
In art class I say next to a student who chewed gum and omg the tingles were crazy and I didn't want it to stop even thought I didn't know what it was
Sounds good :) I have a gum chewing video, maybe that'll do the trick too. Feel free to check it out :)

Ah those ink cartridges remind me so much of school. You had to buy them in huge packs and because I was an asshole as a kid (we all were a bit, right?) I used to place them under a chair leg, sit down, and watch them explode up a classroom wall (or someone's leg)... Those were the days.
WHY IS THIS SO RELATABLE OMG and this still happens to me xD
Very nice! I was relaxed....
It would be awesome if you could make an ASMR video with that kind of plastic bag you held the ink in... I get really good triggers for just those few seconds of you crinkling that bag! I can't find that type of bag being used in ASMR anywhere, it's all plastic shopping bags or thicker plastic that don't make the same sound :(
Took me back to jr high, oooo I love the pencil box sounds and pens. So many tingles. My first asmr experience was at sleep over playing the drawing game on each others back and guess ing what it was they drew. (:
Ah this is such a deja vu. I used to do the same with my friends. Still the best asmr for me :)
I love the tapping! x
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that :)
Lol my first trigger in elementary was when we were correcting a test and the guest teacher was passing around the pens in a little rectangle pencil box
The tingles took down my headache. Lovely! Also i thought the music you can barely hear came from a neighbor.. until i paused the video :p
Love your hands and your hair, good video
One of my earlier triggers, even if I didn't think of it as such at the time, must've been getting my hair cut with one of those barber machines.
just a suggestion but should've had only used 60% capacity of of the pencil case allowing room for the stuff to move and thus more sounds. also put a pencil sharpener and some pencils, that way the sounds are more specific to a pencil case, if i listen to this before being told its a pencil case i'd probably just think its a generic bag by sound :)
I quite liked the part where you were testing out the pens. :D
Btw, regarding the new series; do you plan to post unrelated videos between the episodes, or will you continue with the theme for the foreseeable future?
I'm currently writing a literature review and I have something due later today. I got stressed out, but this really helps :D Great that it is so long too. I'm gonna get back to reading and writing now ^^
Aw I'm glad I can help :)
Very pleasant, thank you!
Amazing video! I'm a New Zealander. I've never used a fountain pen before xD
I remember my first chilldhood when I watching Barney.
