Hey potato! I wonder if it's possible for you to do a tutorial on how you edit your works in blender? Lighting and stuff, really amazing work, deserves more attention!
I rly love your sketching phase.. most speedpaints start off with lineart .. sketching shows how the artist thinks when making the idea i find it rly fun to watch
Potato i only recently got into pixel art and finding you has been a complete joyride. I would really love tutorials on how you mix blender with pixel art a bit more elaborately (we won't mind a text based or even voiced tutorial). Love your work. Please keep making such beautiful pieces
Потрясающе. И на это ушло 10 часов, такой большой труд ради маленькой но красивой анимации. Когда играешь в игру, даже не осознаешь сколько было приложено усилий и потрачено времени.
Greetings! I have a pixel art channel as well and I've been doing pixel arts for quite some time now... I've done the craziest stuff in pixel art but NEVER EVER I would think that mixing Blender and Aseprite could be a thing, this is a total game changer for me. Thank you so much for showing your work, I will spend some great time learning how to do that as well! I really do appreciate, and hope that someday I can grow as big as you!
This is just incredible man, now i REALLY want to learn how do you make such amazing lightning effects on blender to incorporate this on my stuff! Great video!
now, ermm i have a question. when i work in pixel art, the art is in ".ase" (like jpg, png etc.) and that isnt compatible with anything lol. idk what i can do jjjjjjjjjj
Oh you need to export it out by hit Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S (or file -> Export -> Export as), in export window, next to Output hit the three dots to change the save location and the format there. Export also have some setting to pay attendtion : size, layer, frames..
▬In the first Blende you could create Games, now I don't know if that continues but it was an Engine and Modeler now I think it's just a modeler although many don't know it
Oh wow I didn't know it was a game engine before. And you are right, Blender is more focus on making movie now, people making game using it just to make models.
This is a wild workflow, the effect is absolutely magical. I wonder how something like this would look with a little bit of depth extruded on each layer to give it a more solid papery appearance?
You mean the parallax effect right ? Yea this one is not to much parallax, I didn't move the camera much in this one, but you can check my Tea Time video, that one have very clear parallax effect :D
hello potato how are you, my name is caleb your workflow is so amazing, let me do a congratulation to you, i love your work,im also used blender for my personal proyects
Dude this is sick. Would you compare learning pixel art, to regular drawing just with additional pixel fundamentals. Because that’s what it seems like and I’d love to learn to do this.
For me color theory effect pixelart alot, pixelart have limit in size and shape (that make pixelart special but also hard to do at first) but the colors are still there compare to regular drawing.
Thank you for this! i've been learning asprite and blender for about a week, had no idea you can port layers into their own file to work on. Just stumbled on your work, is this for a particular project your working on?
You can do the animations, setting up the loop in Aseprite but the blooming effect on the lights is not, it gonna be pixelated bloom if you do it in Aseprite.
Why on earth did you animate it in blender? You didn't use any aspect of 3d, you could have done this in any number of simpler apps and ended up with the same result or better. Please explain the logic used here
Yeah I know it could be done in other apps. The reason I using Blender is because I got used to the software since I work with Blender in my full time job. It can be done in Blender too, so why not :D

Yes, but I think I will do tutorial video explain things by text because I cannot speak English very well.

Not only is this beautiful, it's incredible! Thank you for sharing your work
The render is absolutely gorgeous, I would press (E) on that merchant for my 50g noodles immediately if given the opportunity. Wonderful work!

I've loved watching this come together :)
Gosh. Early in that video I got a flashback to me playing Commander Keen 4. Good job. 😊
I love your artwork so much! you inspire me as an animator :D

I just watched this one and damn, it is soooo awesome to see whole process. I love it!!!
wow nice work, the way you work in blender reminded me of some scene development in a game
Oh I thinks Hollow Knight have layers parallax like that.

Ironically the way you place everything means you could potentially do this in after effects as well!
Yea, I know, but I choose Blender, the final TV filter is still in AF though. For me it just more fun to working in 3D space :D
You should honestly make a game or something, your art HAS to go somewhere
Thank you! That is exactly what I plan to do in the future :D
@@SillyPotato Then I'll be the first one to play your game
this is awesome, could you please make a video about your workflow in both aseprite and blender?
is aseprite is the best pixel animator for now?
I am not sure, I just love the UI !

Hello! You have earned another subscriber
what canvas size did you use for it? looks really good!
I really like your work!!! Keep it up! Do you plan on making it as a wallpaper? I would love to have this as my laptop wallpaper. You're awesome!

Thank you for this! i've been learning asprite and blender for about a week, had no idea you can port layers into their own file to work on. Just stumbled on your work, is this for a particular project your working on?
This is just about the art, but maybe, hopefully the ideas will be in some game project I make in the future :D
very beautiful😍
the blender phase is very impressive !
Do you have some free or paid tutorial about it ?
I planning to do a tuttorial video about that !
I would easily use it as my wallpaper. In fact, I'm going to use it. Where can I find it?
I will put them on my patreon page for you guys to download in the future !
Beautiful style. Do you make games?
Yes, I am trying to :D
