It was shown when he fought Grimmjow and Ulqiorra in the manga that the pass was on him, but broke after he turned into the vasto lorde, which is why he suddenly seemed significantly stronger when fighting aizen with the captains. He also has the combat pass on him when he fights Ginjo. It’s explained that the reason 3 Captains and Lieutenant’s were dispatched was because that was the force necessary to stop Ichigo if he decided to betray the soul society after he found out the Truth about the combat pass. Obviously we know he never would, but it’s no secret that Ichigo is undoubtedly one of the most powerful characters in Bleach even without Mugetsu/True Bankai.
Toshiro’s lines weren’t translated the best. He wasn’t happy that the next substitute soul reapers was a man like Ichigo, he was happy that “that man was the next substitute soul reaper”. This is actually a somewhat important difference although small

However, if he was buried in the soul society his death would be permanent. That's why soi fon objected to his request and shinji asked if ichigo could forgive ginjo because he was essentially giving ginjo a second chance. But these are just my speculations i don't know if its actually right though.
Because Ichigo burried Ginjo in the living world. So Ginjo is able to go to ss. Its only when captain class souls dies in SS that they get to send to hell. The thing about them controlling Ichigos power is pretty normal for all captain class soul reapers, whenever captain class soul reapers are in the world of the living they are restricted to prevent then from effecting the world of the living, this is especially important for someone like Ichigo that isn't particularly good at controlling his spiritual pressure.
The major difference is that official soul reapers are both aware of the restriction, consenting to it, and theirs isn't also spying on them without their knowledge or consent. Ichigo's "restriction" was a secret spying device used to potentially take remote control of his abilities at the discretion of the Soul Society at any point in time should they decide to do so. It actually infringes on his human rights directly, as any person has the right to privacy and their own body.

@talos86 Nah, Dangai Ichigo and Aizen's Evolution are far above Yamamoto. In fact, Kubo himself confirmed in the Unmasked Databook that Butterfly Aizen is on the same level of Reiō(at least on his sealed and weakened state) and Monster Aizen surpassed it.

Watched Bleach when new episodes was still being posted, to finally get a new arc after all these years feels like a dream to me. It will be an honor to get to see one of the greatest anime series come back full force.
Bro, I got so into bleach that I started looking into spoilers, watched the dub but couldn't wait so I also started watching the sub starting with the Arrancar arc and vividly remember watching the "rolling star" intro multiple times in the same day. Absolutely love bleach, definitely one of my all time favorite animes and I'm so damn happy that the final arc is coming out, I also hope Kubo continues with hell arc but the more people beg the more I feel he won't do it.
1) They don't cover it in the manga, only a novel, but Ginjo's story is pretty screwed up (it's not a spoiler for the upcoming anime). He was given the badge and served as a substitute, but a noble betrayed him, and ordered the death of all of his friends and family by using the badge to ensure that he wasn't in the area to help. Then, they tried to kill him, but failed, and he went a little crazy. Ukitake wasn't part of the plan, and his badge idea was simply abused by the head of a noble clan that hasn't been introduced in the story yet. 2) Ichigo wants Ginjo's body in the human world because this will enable him to incarnate in Soul Society as a spirit (and, yes, Fullbringers do retain their powers after they die and get sent to the Rukongai district); if his body is brought to Soul Society through Urahara's special senkaimon, he will not incarnate as a spirit.
And as we seen, Ginjo is a captain class human/shinigami. All captain class shinimagi are sent to Hell from the Soul Society to ensure the balance between the worlds.

What an amazing journey it was, I enjoyed watching your reactions all the way through.. I loved your passion and how invested you got into Bleach. It's always very hard for me to watch this last episode as I remember what it meant back then when it first came out... It still feels unreal to have my favourite childhood show come back after such a long time... it was a great part of my life and I'm thankful that I got to live to see it continue.
I mean I would like to say Ginjo's backstory was in the light novel. So I'll say this if the soul society were to kill Ichigo's friends then I do believe he would always hold a grudge against them. I can't say further bcoz we don't know if they r adapting CFYOW light novel. As of now there is only one light novel that is likely to get adapted to add to the aftermath of TYBW.

I have been a bleach fan for a long time and watched the show each time it aired. And the hardest thing abt this last episode was not knowing if there's gonna ba another one. I almost gave up expecting another season after so many years. So u can imagine how happy i was when it was announced that TYBW was in production and that its possible that they will animate the manga till the end.😭
Yeah, I started watching Bleach when I was 10 y.o(2011), and when I discovered that it was canceled I cried a lot as a kid, because obviously I didn't know if it would ever continue. So when they announced TYBW Arc, after almost 10 years of waiting, I almost cried thinking about what would be my reaction as a kid if I knew that Bleach would return with such a gorgeous animation.
Since by this point it was decided there would be no next season, the anime decided there was no point in stretching single chapters into an episode, they could go all in and use 2 chapters per episode instead (when the correct pacing for an average anime episode is 2-3, 18page chapters of the manga)... Therefore we got 2 cliffhangers per episode... One for the commercial cut and one for the end... One corresponding to a single chapter and the other for the second chapter covered by the episode...
Here's a fun fact, Ginjo and Aizen at this point were the only 2 to complete the hollowfication metamorphosis to where the mask doesn't appear, only the tattoos/eyes.
I would just wait until all episodes are out. The waiting ruined the pacing for me of this last arc. Now rewatching it continuously made it incredibly enjoyable.
About the age thing in the end, I have had thoes feelings. When I was younger I thought I was "mature" and adult when I was in my early 20 to 25. Now that im 40 when I see others that are 20 they look like kids to me still, or young adults that still native and don't know fully about life yet and I tell me self there they go thinking they are all that. They have NO idea still! =D
Spoilers for CFYOW The soul society betrayed Ginjo by killing all his friends , so when he said if they roles would have switched he could be right. If the soul society killed chad , orihime and uryu , Ichigo would go mad

Ginjo may be a SK material, but only temporary, like Ukitake. Ichibei knew very well about Ginjo and his powers(since he is the one, who gives name to everything in the Bleach universe), but he didnt counted him as a possible relpacement in the TYBW. He was available in the SS.

It's always very hard for me to watch this last episode as I remember what it meant back then when it first came out... It still feels unreal to have my favourite childhood show come back after such a long time... it was a great part of my life and I'm thankful that I got to live to see it continue.

I mean I would like to say Ginjo's backstory was in the light novel. So I'll say this if the soul society were to kill Ichigo's friends then I do believe he would always hold a grudge against them. I can't say further bcoz we don't know if they r adapting CFYOW light novel. As of now there is only one light novel that is likely to get adapted to add to the aftermath of TYBW.
By the number of episodes that TYBW has, it is very unlikely to happen.
@@yuqingchen9851 Yeah I guess but it could like after TYBW ends, they could adapt another arc (CFYOW), if the series recieves enough recognition(legal viewership) but considering people expressing their hate for Disney locking the series in their platform n people freely expressing they r gonna watch through piracy I don't have much hopes. I do hope people would watch it legally. But that's just my bias n love for this series to want to reach the great heights it deserves. Still I pray it gets a great legal viewership so Kubo can keep working on the series. 😊

I have been a bleach fan for a long time and watched the show each time it aired. And the hardest thing abt this last episode was not knowing if there's gonna ba another one. I almost gave up expecting another season after so many years. So u can imagine how happy i was when it was announced that TYBW was in production and that its possible that they will animate the manga till the end.😭

Yeah, I started watching Bleach when I was 10 y.o(2011), and when I discovered that it was canceled I cried a lot as a kid, because obviously I didn't know if it would ever continue. So when they announced TYBW Arc, after almost 10 years of waiting, I almost cried thinking about what would be my reaction as a kid if I knew that Bleach would return with such a gorgeous animation.

Since by this point it was decided there would be no next season, the anime decided there was no point in stretching single chapters into an episode, they could go all in and use 2 chapters per episode instead (when the correct pacing for an average anime episode is 2-3, 18page chapters of the manga)... Therefore we got 2 cliffhangers per episode... One for the commercial cut and one for the end... One corresponding to a single chapter and the other for the second chapter covered by the episode...

Here's a fun fact, Ginjo and Aizen at this point were the only 2 to complete the hollowfication metamorphosis to where the mask doesn't appear, only the tattoos/eyes.

About the age thing in the end, I have had thoes feelings. When I was younger I thought I was "mature" and adult when I was in my early 20 to 25. Now that im 40 when I see others that are 20 they look like kids to me still, or young adults that still native and don't know fully about life yet and I tell me self there they go thinking they are all that.
