    • @simonbackwash

      @@adambane1719 LOL. This has nothing to do with money scam : Everything on the Blockchains (except few private currencies) but all major crypto currencies starting with Bitcoins : Have all transactions recorded forever on the blockchains , are you can read into it publicly like an open book like you would do an a Word document, it's immutable and cant's be modified.
      99% of money laundry or crime money are NO LONGER using crypto-currencies since it's not longer private like you may have seen in silk road movie (takes place in 2013 or around that time). Using a blockchain/cryptos to buy or sell drugs are the worts way to hide your track and best way to get caught. (On the other hand it's very easy to move cash , precious stones or metals, from one hand to another. Including for the biggest fortunes of this planet and our Govs.
      This is our current financial system which is a scam, where you money is devaluated over the years since $ is not indexed to gold anymore, and since USA or Europe are printing money out of thin air and like crazy since 2008. Just google "What USD $ can buy 100 years "and you will see by yourself. In Bitcoins you have 21 millions of tokens and you can't add/change supply so it's deflationary by nature.
      Now you seems to don't know much about digital assets and programable money. And you will be a perfect ship for the upcoming CBDC crypto $ that governments, try to push to maintain the actual wealth distribution and to continue to operate in the dark. What some governments try to prepare with their national crypto currencies AKA CBDC is a mass control tools with horrific consequences : They will decide : what you can buy, if you can buy, when you can buy it , freeze your assets(money) and have total control on what you do. Implement a social score , increase your insurance policy according to what goods you consume (or NOT CONSUME) and son on....
      For your infos : not all crypto currencies are scams (even if it's true that here is hacks and scams since there is money but so like everywhere where money is circulating : Most of them have their source code public , are permission less, has not bank fees because there is no middle man. Just a smart contract and NO CEO ( decisions are taken by shared holders "Gouvernance Token"). And you should do one or tow research on "Defi", stands for "decentralized finance" to understand why all eyes including BIS, IMF , SEC has their greedy eyes on it.
      Lastly to get back to Kelly he is intelligent and cultivate enough to understand what the blockchain (Not in Govs hands can transform the way we live in) and he is perfectly aware of the freedom that crypto can offers to other nations with "poor currencies" and dominated by indexation on US $ (Check level of inflation in Argentina or Venezuela for example and you will see that your US CPI number is not so tragic ! also and peer to peer transactions is a way to individual financial freedom or for those citizens to regain monetary equity when is comes to export-import goods and trades with nations who dominates ==> equal power as a USA citizens or EURO ZONE.
      Actually many are aware of what i mentioned above. You're just outdated Bro :( or need to do a little bit more research on Defi and crypto currencies ( Many people think Cryptos currencies means secrets money to evade taxes or other Gov's requirement : But it's much more like an open book that even Governments demands to cryptos company to increase a certain level of privacy ! The term crypto comes from the fact that it's been invented by cryptographic academic (a branch of mathematic)

    I have mixed feelings on the man-made wave. On one hand, Kelly is a f-ing genius for masterminding this project, bringing it to fruition and getting it on the tour. On the flip side, as satisfying as it would be to get a barrel every time, nothing can compare to the thrill of paddling out into the deep blue sea, waiting for that perfect wave and then scoring a barrel by chance. I totally crave that adrenaline rush.
    In any case, kudos to Kelly for his vision and perseverance. I'd love to see the surf ranch in person someday soon.

Great way to introduce people who have no access to the ocean or maybe afraid of the vastness but want to surf. I’ve always been a supporter of wavepools because of my perspective. Kelly Slater genuinely seems like a nice person. For such a global superstar, with so much money, he's quite humble. Probably one of the secrets to his continued success is that he doesn't have a lot of 'yes' men (women) around him, rather wants honest feedback about his performance and choices. This is a big part of why I love this series. It doesn't just show the contests and the flash. It shows the reality of his life and his humble approach to it. I don't think we can understand how hard it is for a multimillionaire, international superstar to remain humble. Much respect for his attitude and all he has accomplished.

    I wish we could change that trite cliche of walking through walks of life in the intro. It takes away from Kelly’s poetic genius and makes me fast forward. Lol
    I also wish we could’ve seen all this footage as it was happening. I love seeing footage of Kalani, because I can’t help but think how Kelly lucked out. Granted, he’s a top athlete, so he can attract any pretty girl pretty much, but there’s a classic, old school, genuineness to her and the role she plays in Kelly’s life. It’s super refreshing and inspiring, more women should take observation. Could you imagine having your girl, her big smile, her loving support, her actual interest in you and being about you, behind every endeavor? That’s something that almost doesn’t exist anymore. I can’t help but think her natural nature (to be trite too ;)) has played a huge role in Kelly’s success. It’s like that relationship that used to exist between the sexes that helped propel mankind forward, literally.

    • @CL-rm6sb
      @CL-rm6sb 2 года назад +2

      You've got it backwards my friend:
      "Could you imagine having your girl, her big smile, her loving support, her actual interest in you and being about you, behind every endeavor?"
      This is precisely because he's a top athlete and *she* lucked out.

    • @mikeuptegrove
      @mikeuptegrove 2 года назад

      @@CL-rm6sb perhaps, but there’s more at play than that, though I’m sure it’s a factor. I’m more referring to the rarity that is, an older guy getting a young chick that’s not just a mentally ill feminist now. He got a young chick who plays a great supporting role in his life. Women now treat men like disposable puppy dogs, top athlete or not. They go to the nearest feminist court room and bleed a dude just because they woke up without a rainbow outside.

      @mikeuptegrove 2 года назад +2

      @@letsgo6140 I don’t think so, and I don’t agree with your assessment of the current state of affairs with regards to male-female relationships. Of course I see the highlight reels, we all do, but I’m not a naive young pup, and I’ve been around long enough to spot what’s real and what’s contrived in this day and age. If you look at the data, men aren’t marrying women for a reason, and they are getting involved with women at rates far lower than mankind has ever seen. There’s a bunch of phenomena at play, the primary one is the indoctrination of women. But that’s another topic. Probably one that won’t be addressed properly in time to save posterity from its ills. Let’s put it this way, and I’ve seen it a million times in my life already: there’s a lot of middle aged, cat women, reiki healers, who are 40 and childless, precisely because they sipped the kool-aid. The data on relationships reflect this and there’s literally millions upon millions of disenfranchised men discussing this without delusional women online. I send chats to my female friends that I care about, hoping they don’t waste time buying into the lies that will leave them feeling lonely at 40. Men are used to lonely, women can’t handle it. We all have twice as many female ancestors than male ones, for a reason. No one outdoes their biology nor can dilute themselves enough to disregard nature without paying a price.

    Kelly getting people barrels at the ranch he created has got to be one of the most awesome forms of "giving back" I have ever seen. Those are treasured moments and I think that must be so cool for Kalani - it's like the equivalent of a rock star bringing their wife up on stage to sing one song in front of an audience of thousands and they've never sang before. You give them the "moment" so they can understand exactly why you do what you do and it's like giving them a huge piece of you that they have seen countless times before, but have never been able to touch or experience it in the first person.

Design a fin on a computer cut that has a channeled hole on the third fin , reasing the draft draf on the board and weighted motion , allowing water tto flow through the cambered design ... and maybe shark designed edging on rear, also promoting grip on power slide 😈😈😈

    Kelly has the curse of an overly analytical mindset too critical the guys the greatest who ever did it he should just be happy with his accomplishments I mean the dude is 50 he should just be an ambassador for the sport of surfing helping out the newer pros and their approach to heat surfing and working with underprivileged youth and people who normally wouldn't be exposed to the sport because nothing's more gratifying than helping out somebody who truly needs it

      I mean he still does all those charitable things u mentioned, he just also wants to compete as much as he can while his body allows him.... When ur 50 years old, ur end in surfing could come any day, he's lucky enough to be healthy still at his age, I don't blame him for trying to make the most of it...
      It's super rad to see someone 50 still surfing at a high level, age is just a number and he's proving it
