very informational and quick to the point thanks.
Cool video. Something about a Type S in white.
Hey question. For the 3-pin Connector which wire size would it be? 3 options populate when clicking link
following.
Hey, I typically just get the 20-22 AWG one but it would not matter in this case since you will not be cutting, splicing and pinning anything. The only thing that you would need to do is to release the pin from the OEM connector and clicking it in the new connector which is the same regardless of the pins you choose.
How can you find these tail lights?
Hard to find, I would occasionally check the marketplace at acurazine or other forums. Ebay has the left side but you can't find the right side. The route I took by getting it from China was a major pain, especially during Covid.
Where can I get this tail light
Typically you can get them from forums but it's been harder and harder to come by. I got my through a connection in China but I heard Acura pulled out of China so I think it'll be even tougher.
Where can I purchase these lights !
Only way is to get it is have someone send it to you from China but they'd have to find a way to order at the dealership or if someone is selling a set stateside. Definitely not an easy process.
Not a bad way to flex $1,000 for some tails in the USA. For some reason you can only order the driver side on eBay passenger side never goes for sale or 3rd brake light for the bumper but definitely clean type s with the cdm on it
They look horrible
Cool, they're not for everyone. This video was made to show the differences and try to help others get the correct parts on a set of hard to get tail lights. It's the new year, lighten up.
