at around 05:00, you can see there is a washer on the center plate for the second wheel, but I think this washer was lost and not installed when you put back the second wheel there.
Just a bit of interesting information, while it's mentioned the watch is produced in early 1970s, it actually predates that! The serial number begins with an 8, along with the manufacturing period of the 6602 that points to this being either 1968 or 1978. It also says Water Proof, which was changed in 1969 to Water Resistant. therefore, this watch was made in 1968!
I'm curious about your washing and rinsing solutions. It's interesting to see a manual (and thereby far less costly) approach to cleaning watch parts, and I'd like to know more about your process. Thanks in advance.
Ficou muito bom o resultado, embora a pulseira de aço pareça mais adequada. Pergunto como leigo: se foi possível repintar o mostrador, então não poderia ser repintada também a roda da data, ou substituí-la? Obrigado por compartilhar o vídeo.
Thank you for your comment. I got the repainting work out sourced. The guy who repainted the dial doesn’t have experience in repainting the date wheel so I left it as it is.
I hate refurbished, repainted dials! And this one is done very bad and nasty..Loke at the O at the end,it's so obvious but is repainted! Why you just don't leave it in original condition for God sake...
I love the older watches they had class
What a video! Absolutely perfect. I'm restoring my 66a movement and this video is helping me a lot. Thank you!

Lovely, thank you for the information.
October, 1968 assuming that the case back is original to that watch.
Very nice restoration of an very old vintage product. Allah bless you.
Thank you very much. JazakAllah ❤️
Congratulations on this art and peace. It's really great that you don't talk or play music on the movie. I hope you are happy and healthy.❤️❤️❤️
Very nice job. The watch ended up quite beautiful. Good job.
Thank you so much.
Great job, very good to watch. I like the repainted dial, it brings your watch back to life and looks great in white👏.
Great job! Seems like you missed a washer on the under the second wheel....it was there on disassembly, gone on assembly

Excellent restoration. I'm curious to know how your repainted the dial and brought back all the texts
Thank you very much. I got it outsourced. I know a guy who restores the watch dials.
Nice video. I see that the watch face has been repainted?
Did you lose the washer from the 4th wheel? Love this movement, but that guy loves to disappear!
I had the washer but was not sure about its purpose. Then I realized that watch keeps stopping and I replaced the washer back.
Good job. What did you use to clean the parts?
Buen día..,.,.....cómo restauró el dial
Hi, I got it outsourced. I know a guy who restores the watch dials.
MashaALLAH!
JazakAllah
You call that "restoration" ?? I and most viewers would call it a "maintenance service".
You are in Pakistan
Sin una palabra ??? No llegan al que lo visualiza, se ladilla, se cansa y pulsa manita abajo... Créame !!!
Такие же имею часы. От деда перешли, часы с 1971 года.
That’s a beautiful watch you have inherited from your grandfather.
@@prideinwatches благодарю
I wish the dial was kept in Silver! and just reprint the letters

He isn’t asking for any opinions, the redial is subjective and just like I hate milk but you probably like it!
