Just goes to show what hard work and dedication to something shows what a person or a group of people can truly do for a habitat. Keep up the great work. Hopefully one day I'll get the chance to come up and hunt in that part of this great nation.

Great video! How do you keep them from feeding after sunset? Do you have a resting policy in place? We only hunt a few days a week and the mallards won't fly until after legal shooting time in evening?
Everybody has their own opinion, but in mine that’s not the case. I came to MO from IL and hunted all public land and it was very good then and still is today.

When this amount of time and effort and money go into creating and improving waterfowl habitat on private land and little to no effort or time or money is spent doing the same things on public land, we create a private land monopoly on ducks.
@@tonyvandemore I'm from the Grand Prairie, the mallard capital of the world, duck hunter's hallowed ground. I am aware that Missouri does a far better job than Arkansas when it comes to public land management and allocating funds appropriately to public land maintenance and improvements. But unfortunately that is not the case in most of the places I hunt (100% public land).

Last time I was in Arkansas we were in Walden county Arkansas and a good friend of ours got us hooked up with over 10,000 acres in Walden county and we had the most fun I ever had in my entire life hunting snow geese stalking them set in decoys forum running electronic game callers we had a bunch of fun it was the month of February during the cull season.

What’s the trick on keeping snow geese from eating all your corn?
The smaller the sections of open water the less apt the snows will be to roost.

Not sure where you are from, but our public areas are great. They do it on a heck of a lot larger scale than we do.
