What a treat and you got some lovely finds. That ring of fire compote bowl was amazing. Them rich folk sure know how to live. Have to give them credit for curating such beautifully handcrafted things. Some folk would just call it pretentious stuff but when you really think about it , they really appreciated art and all the creative arts and that’s something that I feel as an artist , should be perpetuated. I know you always describe yourself as a creative so you understand ❤. Thanx for the tour. I felt like I was watching a PBS documentary!😊
Wow, can you imagine living in that house? If I was ever having a bad day, Id just walk around my house, go up and down the beautiful staircase, look at all the amazing details throughout the home and cheer right up!
I think the lady is suposed to be Justice on that stunning maquetry cabinet...this house is stunning, how amazing to get to wander through it PLUS touch the incredible antiques!!!
All that red glass was amazing! I have that print at 9:21. It is in the antique bedroom. We call her Annabelle to freak out my daughter who sleeps in that room when she visits, lol.The grounds! OMG!
What a thrill to see that house I saw the oval framed lady picture on the wall in your video & had a feeling that would be something you would buy. Very exciting to see so many treasures & some reasonable priced items too. Thank you so much for taking us with you!
GREAT VIDEO ! ! ! You got so many awesome pieces. I loved the background music you chose - it was beautiful and fit the video so well. I will have to watch this over and over again!
Thanks for taking us along & showing us this beautiful home! When I attend estate sales I always think of what is the story of family that lived there. Victorian is not really my style but I enjoy looking at it. The backyard was amazing. Only if these walks could talk. Great video!
I loved loved this house! It must of been like stepping back in time I feel as though even if this house was empty you can still see the history everywhere ❤captain jacks eyes 😻 he’s a cute chunk!
What a wonderful way to start my Saturday morning 😍 I did not want this video to end lol 😄 This mansion is absolutely amazing and the view in the back is stunning! That would be a good idea to have this mansion as a bed and breakfast, I would definitely stay there. The pink & gold clock set in the beginning is so pretty and I gasped when I saw that candlestick set with those long crystals 😮🤩 Those gold frames that you got are beautiful! 🖼️ such a fun video Katherine! I enjoyed it very much 😊💕💕💕
Another wonderful video! Captain Jack has a sweet, sweet face. Great way to start a video. Wow, what a house and street. Interesting how these homes are built kind of close to each other. Anyway, the chalk board cookie jar brings to mind the ceramic Christmas choir kids. Something about her face. The furniture you rescued from the outside elements is unique. Great find and save! The frames are epic and I’m looking forward to your tree project. Older frames have character that modern ones just don’t. The compote is amazing! Thanks for showing it in the light. I learned something new! Funny, the oval framed print has a similar shape compote in it. The ruins are fascinating. What were they? That backyard with the fountains…..what a way to live! You made terrific purchases. I would have picked up the bored/sleepy/annoyed gal painting in the, I think, basement. She was kind of a hoot! Having a rough day like we all do once in a while. I appreciate that. Thanks for sharing. So fun and so interesting!🩷
First! Hey Katherine! Hope you are well. The motif on the desk is Lady Justice. She is often seen wearing a blindfold. The house was absolutely stunning. Can you imagine a Halloween party in the grounds? I lived in a Victorian house for years. Mine wasn’t small, but it was tiny compared to that magnificent place! Thank you for sharing the experience with us. Take care darling and hello Captain Jack. Charlotte xx🇬🇧
Oh my gosh!! I have a thing! On the timestamp at 4:34 where you pick up that deer, to the left of it is a tiny cobalt blue tea cup- I have an identical one!😮 Anyway, What an amazing house and beautiful items! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

Thank goodness I don’t have a fireplace! I have no excuse. 😂

Tell me about it! And the family will continue to own the property moving forward it sounds like. 😳
If that house was made into a B&B, it would be soooooo fantastic. ❤
I just need $6 million and to convince the family to sell it to me! Dreams can come true!!! 😮💨😂
I loved loved this house! It must of been like stepping back in time I feel as though even if this house was empty you can still see the history everywhere ❤captain jacks eyes 😻 he’s a cute chunk!

I wonder why the devil was above her? I found that very odd.
I would go to any party I was invited to there for sure!
@@KatherineYoung when Lucifer was in heaven above. God cast him out to be the devil below.

I was looking for things I hadn’t seen before!
I’m so curious about what the ruins were and the era. So beautiful and magical.
Same!
Amazing thank you for the trip😂😂 opulence
Right!?!?
Absolutely love this Katherine ❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
Great finds!!
I had a bit too much fun! 😅
Wow! Was the house for sale? Do you know what the price is or value on a home like that?
Maybe $6-10 million? The home was not for sale and will stay in the family it sounded like.
Can I come visit, get an iced coffee and treat, and just go stroll down that street and gander?!
Oh yes. We stroll this street a lot!
❤
What happened to the people that lived there?
Too old to live on such a large home! A new generation will move in.
