Constantin Stog I think Jim Rohn says calls it Someday Isle. Some day I'll do this. Some day I'll have my own business. Some day I'll drive that. but don't let me be a damper. instead, let this man teach you that, no matter what illness you've been tagged with, NEVER let anybody limit you to the bare minimum. because if a person who lost both his (or her) legs to a land mine in some foreign country or was born with some "defects", you CAN do whatever you truly desire to do. NEVER let the limitations of others limit YOU!!
In Jesus name..amen who said he has a mansion for all of those who believe. Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you for in my Father's house there are many mansions.

So many people have the idea but lose it on application. This gentleman has the idea and exceeded the application with good taste and incredible workmanship. I wish him well with his MS and know that his determination and sense of style are well intact to see him through the years ahead. Compliments!

I was just saying to my buddy on our way to work today,I need to buy some land with a good cave ,he laughed at me! Man , you have a done an awesome job of that cave!!
What a gorgeous masterpiece! I hope that Angelo gets to live there full-time, very soon. He is quite inspiring. And to have done so much, with MS. I have experienced the healing effects of being out in nature, and he likely feels this, as well.
I've always admired a person with the creativity to create something from nothing and come up with a master piece! Having the skill alone to do all of the manual labor himself is unbelievable, Braun and brains....a rare trait indeed! 🤘🙏💋
Thank you, that's inspiring. Any business man can buy a luxury apartment, I sculpted The Rockhouse with my own hands in honor of my ancestors "Mastropieto" it means 'Master of Stone', what an incredible opportunity!
wow....What a wonderful masterpiece..., just an infrastructure inside like " ellora caves " & " temples" in INDIA. Fantasic work. I admired a lot..magnificent
@Sri Moonshine luxury apartments are cheaper sometimes. Regular apartment rent is around 1.5k. Luxury rents are around 100k more. Purchase price for normal apartment is around 150,000, and luxury apartment purcase price is 2x that at 250,000. Kinda simple to figure out if you know how to do math lmao. But thats just where I live so could for sure be different in other places.
This story embodies the essence of what it means to be a real man. Despite having a crippling disease such as multiple sclerosis, he took responsibility of his life, started from nothing, and made his dream a reality. 1,000 hours of pure grind, will power, and perseverance. Just wow.
Edin743 I once built a giant tree and had the glory idea to make a fire on top to see better in the night... It all burnt down within minutes. Didnt made a backup. >.
I would love to live there to, however, I would invest in all those light bulbs that give off natural looking light. I bought one a few days ago to put above my chair and it works really well.
Naw, install either light tubes or fiber optic light, they need no power. Then he only needs power for lights at night. I would use LED plant lights, then he can grow food inside too.
Wow, this is gorgeous. I love it! I'd love to live in a cave. Great that you didn't focus on your diagnosis and let it get you down. Whenever I have any kind of illness, I tell myself transcend it!!! And that's what I do. Enjoy your beautiful place.
Good for you and great job! There are many people who would love to live in a cave as beautiful as you have made yours. Probably a great many would settle for a cave with light and heat with the cost of housing the way it is.
Technically, MrTinyThumb is right. Wifi just gives you local network access. You still need a connection to the internet. BUT, nowadays when someone says they have wireless, they mean wireless access to the internet.
Just so I can brag. That’s my dads friend and I’ve been there a few times. I know I sound like a brat but hey. Also my uncle, dad and cousin helped him refit it 😂
Wifi just bounces around the walls and through the house. The signals don't actually go through any walls at all so he probably gets pretty good reception all over his house.
I've really been considering buying property and excavating a home similar in design to this but more modern looking inside. After doing tons of research and watching probably a dozen or so video tours like this. I'm even more inspired. However it probably isn't going to happen as we only have solid Granite cliff sides here in western NC. I can't even chip or scratch the rock with a mattock. Top notch work though my friend.
I admire you, Sir. Your love for nature , creativity, hard work, and brilliance in engineering made a very impressive and undoubtedly magnificent abode. So relaxing to stay there, I believe.😍😍😍😍
THAT IS THE MOST GORGEOUS COTTAGE HOME I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE THAT IS SO BEAUTIFUL I AM LITERALLY IN TEARS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TALENT AND BEAUTIFUL HEART THAT YOU HAVE... AND I THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
And what's ironic is that if someone heard him saying that he wants to live in a cave and build a home inside a cave would've probably thought wow "this man is crazy". There you go!
Angelo Mastropietro You're welcome! What you created is so truly out of this world AMAZING! I can only imagine how wonderful it feels to stand back and gaze with pride, at that masterpiece! And just think, nobody...NOBODY ELSE has one like it! :-) Great job Darlin'! Enjoy that little slice of heaven on Earth! Many blessings to you! Happy Holidays! :-)
What a masterpiece. I would love to live in there any day. What an accomplishment it's a work of art. Now that's a real man with ingenuity, strength, determination and a love of the earth. 💪 That's very attractive.....
This cave element gives a sense of psychological calm because it doesn't see much of the outside world. Few doors give a sense of complete control to the owner and increase the element of security. With fewer windows and doors, the smell in the room will become more synonymous with the owner, giving the ability to distinguish between danger and safety. This also determine who can come to his cave and who should go out, as you can see in 2:32
Amazing! I have M.S also so i know he must of put everything he had into this project and more. Proud of this multiple sclerosis warrior and all my M.S family! Stay strong. 🎗💪🧡
WOW...What you built has been a dream of mine for 40 years... I am an underground miner.....I have always dreamed of doing exactly what you did...Great Job..
Nothing like working hard and building something yourself. Hopefully, I can be proud of something one day and accomplished like this man.
Throw a quarter of a million dollars on the table and I'll make it happen. No sweat. (Literally).
That's the problem with most of the people "one day". That someday may never come. Life is to live and not to prepare to live. Start NOW.

It must be a beautiful thing to live within a space, knowing that it was the result of hard work by your own hand
This Man should be very Proud of what he built. No need for AC, heat is very easy. Easily the Best Home I’ve ever seen built by 1 talented Man!
No no no... "Pride commeth before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18)

If anyone's interested the TV show "Grand Designs" has an entire episode dedicated to this house.
Thanks!:)

What a smart / talented man, how he did so much harder work by him self , wow?
His own water
All he needs is his own power and heating.
He ready for the apocalypse
He doesn't have to pay taxes.
If he has a running watercourse nearby, then hydro powers an option.
May be he is spending time in this house because of covid-19
The heating part is not a big thing. He has a firewood stove and the house is naturally insolated.

@Ace Buck There are periods of remission with MS.
I've seen a lot of cave homes as it's my dream to build one. This is one of my favorites!!
Absolutely beautiful!
Wow. That's amazing that he could create this almost completely by himself! I wish him the best and good health!
The real life inspiration for the game Minecraft. It started to get dark so he built a shelter in a cave... common sense really. Creepers are deadly.
