- A new piano cover from Deltarune. This time I wanted to make something special for this one, I hope you enjoy my version. I inspired me from the piano performance of TobyFox on the 5th anniversary of Undertale.

Once upon a time, a LEGEND was whispered among shadows.
It was a LEGEND of HOPE.
It was a LEGEND of DREAMS.
It was a LEGEND of LIGHT.
It was a LEGEND of DARK.
This is the legend of DELTA RUNE
For millenia, LIGHT and DARK have lived in balance,
Bringing peace to the WORLD.
But if this harmony were to shatter...
a terrible calamity would occur.
The sky will run black with terror
And the land will crack with fear.
Then, her heart pounding...
The EARTH will draw her final breath.
Only then, shining with hope...
Three HEROES appear at WORLDS' edge.
A HUMAN,
A MONSTER,
And a PRINCE FROM THE DARK.
Only they can seal the fountains
And banish the ANGEL'S HEAVEN.
Only then will balance be restored,
And the WORLD saved from destruction.
Today, the FOUNTAIN OF DARKNESS-
The geyser that gives this land form-
Stands tall at the center of the kingdom.
But recently, another fountain has appeared on the horizon...
And with it, the balance of LIGHT and DARK begins to shift.

in utter shock and disbelief at the beauty and creativeness of this arrangement. relsei's leitmotif is my favourite melody in deltarunes soundtrack so far,, and hearing a full fledge, highly skilled playing of just that is extremely lovely! thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for sharing your talent with the internet!
man this cover really stands out to me because of how emotional it is. and it doesnt stick to the ost version comepletely, has all those little additional trills and stuff that makes it sound very nice! i dont see that very often. very much one of my favorite piano covers of the legend!
Deltarune definitely was a great sequel to Undertale in terms of OST. Great cover! 🎹
This sure can make a Deltarune fan smile and cry because of all the emotion this is the best version of The Legend I have heard besides the one in game

Very cool descending chromatic bassline at the end, reminds me of “a town called hometown”. I wonder what the thematic meaning of it would be, if it were to be used in the game.
