With some wheels you can feel a little difference between 0 and 6 but it has more to do with reaction times and sharpness, how quick you turn in into a corner. But it's barely noticeable. The vibration setting does something to your wheel though. You have to go to the gt icon in the top left. Options - Controller - Vibration. On most wheels it will only add something when you are not turning, but the difference between 0 and 150 is clearly noticeable,
If anyone on the t598 wants to give these a try i find it a good balanced feeling. When centered on a straight i can let go of the wheel and it stays put as well. GT7 menu settings...vibration maxed , TC 0, controller sensitivity 10, FFB max torque 5, FFB sensitivity 1.(wheelbase) Playstation mode 2, FFB at 1, master at 65%, Mode E, Friction Mid, boost low +2, boost high +1, Speed Mid, Damper 0, Spring 0,Gear Jolt high, End Stop High. ✌️
Firstly love your content. Controller settings he's talking about, Old advice used to be 5. What it does is offsets the timing/harshness of the inputs thats all. You wouldn't feel it how you were driving no offense, and i cant vouch for that wheel.. i use a tgtii.. if you had it below 5 before the more recent update it increased a delay to the wheels, take daily race C for example Suzuka, turns 2-4 you have to make an instant turn the opposite direction and thats when you would notice a delay if its present. Some people are saying its closer to 1-1 on 10 now since recent updates, i haven't adjusted. It can be checked by parking up turning steering and watch replay. To be honest its only noticeable when you are literally chasing down 100's. I can hit top 100 but I'm not all that at drifting as limited time but this is where this should be more noticeable. Sim action clips, drifts and often refers to controller settings being important. There is also a separate vibration menu, this is the only thing i can think your commenter was rudely referring too. Hope that helps, keep up the good work. I haven't been sold this wheel yet as general consensus is if you like the feel of the weight of the car tgtii still does a good job in comparison.
The controller sensitivity is for the PS5 CONTROL PAD ONLY. The wheel's vibration is not in the controllers quick menu, it is in the main options menu ,under the VIBRATION SUB menu and there you will find a slider going from 0 to 150 which is initially used for the transducers like the one in the Tgt2 ( don't know if it is relevant to the t598 as well),
@frogboyx1Gaming So, as I thought, it isn't meant for the t598 or maybe in a future update . Anyway, the guy who sent you a message about your settings in this game should not be taken seriously.
@@MrGreglock you guys. There is a change that is noticeable. But the person in this video is going to the wrong setting. It does not HELP that it is not named proper within GT7 either. Lol You use a combination of setting changes too. So if one is turned on it cancels the other setting. I will return and get you the steps. But there is %100 two sensitivities. I was shocked as well. BUT I am NOT %100 on if it aplies to this thrustmaster. I know %100 it does on logitech though. Since I cant walk you though it atn(im not looking at GT7). I'll try though: START First by going to the options upper left option that takes you to the 'controller' sensitivity its on/off choice. YES it looks like its for the DualSense - should list out 1-4 controllers - so it really appears in the menu as if its the controllers. BUT it impacts steering wheel. So if your steering wheel is the primary controller then that on/off option for "controller 1" impacts it. THIS IS REAL. Its kinda dumb but its gt7's fault. Long story short. Keep all controller on/off options "ON" then below that is a master sensitivity for ALL controllers above. Start low here at first. This controls the noise. So less is more imo. But if its high its noticeable and disturbing. Start VERY LOW (like '5') here at first. You go back to this later. Once thats set. Go to in-game option For controller setting - that menu before a race . then use the Two settings there. FFB might Start that middle way at first for your basline. Then do opposite reasoning on that other one - test '1' +(FFB middle), then try '10' (again keeping FFB middle ). Learn how the drives attitude changes First, then work on FFB strength.... Once this gets you at proper tourques and FB that you like. The noise of the road can be delt with in the OTHER sensitivity level [-see beginning/controller level ]. Its dumb, I know. But it doesn't make it NOT A THING in GT7 :) -hope that helps!
You changed your controller settings not your wheel ‘controller’ settings so it won’t change anything. He obviously put the word controller in there which confused the statement. For me your wheel settings should be sensitivity at max (10), and force feedback at what suits your wheel buy don’t forget some wheels also have a setting so you have to balance it. It’s personal and I want it quite light. I don’t want a work out while I’m playing, just max road feel.
that other guy is exactly right controller sens has to do with how cars steers 0 is way bad needs too be around 5 plus your in the wrong setting he didn't say vibration
I run my controller sensitivity at 10 on my t598. It feels sharper, but I could be wrong. I run FFB on 2 or 3 and FF sensitivity at 2 and the wheel feels perfect for me
I Hope you get your hands on a t818 its well worth the money if you have thrustmaster eco system wheels. There also is a plug in usb box for the consoles that let you use dedicated PC wheels on the Playstation.
People also say u shiuld be using the blue Playstation 1 setting on t598. But mine powers on to the red Playstation 2 setting by default. Also i get much less oscillation with what i have it set at on the red than the blue option. It likes the red on mine🤷♂️
As the name says, he’s drunk 🥴 😂. Controller and steering wheel are not the same. U are absolutely right my friend. I’ve got a tgt2 and I love it. The force feedback sensivity I use at 10 and the other at 6. I thought buying now the t598 but I’m gonna wait a bit more. Continue your excellent work I love it and it’s really amazing honestly. Take care my friend.
ffb sens is road vibration ffb torch is power controller sens has too do with how fast of a response you get on turning try controller sens on 5 ffb is up too you on vibration road feel put torch on 10
The steering sensitivity is really only a preference thing anyways so I don't get his comment. If it did do anything that is. Its also not a controller so yeah it shouldn't effect it. It was absolutely identical from 10 to -2. I actually agree with you. I don't think people realize that the output is different and the title knoes if it's a contprller or a wheel. The entire build is differrnt between the two. Controllers have some assists you can't get rid of as on contorller braking is much different and throttle so it's a must do for devs. Wheels are completely different so yes that setting should have no impact. The reason why it doesn't is because the wheels ° is set in software and game. So the sensitivity feature that would work on controller won't on wheel as its being judge by its own rotation with degrees.

The T-GT II Is an absolute beast. I will have to test it on Sazuka
Its all preference i found my own settings that I'm using and thats that until they update the game for the use of the t598

What wheel should i get looking at Geeting one mid DEC
Either the T598 or Fanatec DD pro
are both good options that have a decent price
@@frogboyx1Gaming might go fanatec I have always wanted one

Is FFB non existing in GT7?
Watching you steering input and reaction, it looks like your Sunday driving in a Toyota Prius..
It definitely is not as aggressive as some of the other sims, but it does give some feedback, I just need to find the sweet spot.

Could you turn up the ffb sensitivity and tell us the difference even through thrustmaster recommends it at 1
It get very strong and lots of oscillation when turned up
Cela ne vient pas du volant ça vient du jeu , depuis la mise à jour de juin le problème est arrivée il n'y a plus ressenti sur tous les volants .
Um I think the Vibration setting you are looking for is available from the Main Menu and controllers.
Testing it right now and 0 to 150 makes absolutely no difference at all on the T598
@@frogboyx1Gaming Not really suprised, methinks that once you have had a go with anything, it's hard to notice slight changes.
2:08 thats alot of wheel Oscillation on straights by the way thats what she said: 4:45
You should of got a Fanatec DD
LOL I have the Fanatec GT DD Pro *NM
Have you seen the turtle beach wheel its like 600 or more so much things on it
I have seen it
Looks the same to me

go read his post again you dont understand the diff between torch sens an ffb sens you need too learn alot more before giving advice

@ReisNunes_TBT it literally does nothing on a wheelbase. On controller it works.
