Sometimes I miss the snow I grew up with back east. I think what I really miss is drinking hot chocolate by the fire... That's a lot of cute fuzziness on Merlin. I planted several Asian pears and they thrive on neglect and produce huge numbers of tasty fruit. Unlike European pears they keep very well - more like an apple.
I wouldn't mind the snow 1/2 as much if I wasn't sick. 😅 I have one other Asian pear and a European pear. They are all pollinators for each other, but that is the smallest by far. Got a small harvest of the other two this last fall. 💗 He is very fluffy! I'm not looking forward to when he starts to shed heavy-duty this spring. 😕
