Korone doesn't really do talk streams that much, so when she shares stories like this it's super precious and rare.
Seeing Okayu like this is also rare since she's like 100% more spoiled/affectionate when she's only with her Koro-san.

Serious answer: the reason cats and dogs traditionally don't like each other is because a lot of their physical cues get misinterpreted by the other. A cat's purr sounds like a growl to a dog, a dog wagging its tail looks like it's about to attack to a cat, a cat showing its stomach typically doesn't want to have it touched but a dog will see it as an invitation to play, etc. Cats and dogs who get raised together learn to communicate, though, so they can still be the best of friends if they interact early and often.

@@modenoatr Correct, we had 3 cats before we got a dog and gotten a new cat after the previous ones passed away. As long as either the dog or the cat is still very young it will be ok.

These two have been praising each other like crazy on their own streams recently. It's no joke. Korone rarely brings up other Vtubers or recommends them, but she always mentions Okayu and she has said several times that her viewers should watch her stuff (usually she would do the "You are watching other girls?!" gag, but not with Onigirya).
Best friends or slightly more, doesnt matter, these two are definitely the best friends in Hololive. Even closer than PekoMiko or FubuMio.

Korone actually has mentioned that Okayu was the more clingy/affectionate of the two, and that she only tries to act cool on stream. Seems like Okayu's been dropping her Kuudere persona a fair bit, these days, which is seriously making for some amazing Okakoro content.
Yeah, in the new year OkaKoro stream both of them mention about Okayu being much more clingy offline. Okayu even sulks because Korone doesn't invite her to her house often while Korone was like "eh you really wanna come over that badly over small stuff?"
Okayu act cool on stream while Korone definitely plays up the "Ogayuuu" thing, but when they're together like this (or with their close friends like in their SMOK collabs) their vibe definitely feels different.

In both cases... when it's a light laugh, as well as when she completely loses it.
