The best way is not to call the number listed in the sms or email. Always use the phone number on the banks official website or App to call the bank. This way, you're not giving all your personal info to a potential scammer.
This could have been avoided: I would never call the number provided on any mobile text messages, I will call the usual customer service number that I know or on the back of my credit card or on my bank statement instead. The rep will direct you to the appropriate department for handling your case. Also beware that when you click on the number or the link provided on the message. It could start downloading an embedded malicious software to your mobile phone.
I have similar experience with HSBC AU, online transfer limits is AUD$2000/day, I need to call to CS to apply special approval to rise limits in order to transfer out AUD$10000 in one transaction online. They explained was for customer’s protection and they said I need to go in branch to fill in forms for big amount transfer approval. So I end up not applying for higher transfer limits but to transfer out the money in 5days instead.😅

建議登錄銀行app查詢銀行信息,登錄銀行官網查詢客服電話,或者直接到銀行問清楚。收到貌似來自銀行的信息或email,都唔好打開連接,唔好直接打信息提供的電話號碼。大額銀碼通常都有3到5個工作日pending 交易,唔好慌,有足夠時間問清楚銀行。
我都收過聯邦銀行由官方電話發出的SMS,懷疑我的帳戶有些可疑的轉賬,請按下面的連接查詢,當時是晚上10點之後,第一我當然覺得是假的,但又唔敢自己上網查帳戶,等到第二朝去銀行一問之下當然係假㗎啦,所以大家都要小心。

明白嗰位網友既損失帶來既不快。我曾經都喺HSBC 有不快經歷,雖然性質唔同,我並唔係電騙,係網上操作上引致損失,我覺得HSBC都有責任,反映後佢哋幫我開左file,並答覆會有專人覆我,但最後完全無左件事,打去追先話查過唔關佢哋事, file closed.
呢件事困擾左我好長一段時間,除左因為損失金錢,亦令到我杯弓蛇影,攪到有少少depressed. 過左好耐先叫做釋懷。所以希望嗰位網友都盡量唔好影響到情緒。
血汗錢是辛苦賺來,15分鐘被騙去,那種失落難過沒經歷過很難體會。

其实像這件案件, 銀行的制度有問題, 从未有过的交易, 不应這么快轉錢, 最少12 小時, 如果這样, 事主就不会有金錢損失. 銀行在电腦系統做些改动, 騙徒就沒有這么容易得手.

1.沒有收過短訊交易通知
2.自己沒有輸入密碼
3.咁都可以碌到咭?
改密碼網上銀行應同時要有电話 上的one time code, 电話在机主手上, 除非电話被'入侵, 电話one time code 加上忘記密碼提示答案才可改, 網上銀行有漏洞?
