- Farmers Raise & Harvest Billions of Mussels This Way | Mussel Farm
Did you know, that mussel farms can harvest billions of mussels each crop and bring in millions of dollars in profits? This is a highly valuable commercial industry in many parts of the world because of low costs but high profits. If you don't believe me, join me in watching this video to see how mussel farms operate to make such profits.
Discover how to raise and harvest billions of mussels
With growing human consumption and the need to protect our oceans from overfishing, society needs to find alternative sustainable sources of protein. Mussel farming has rapidly expanded in many countries, serving as an important source of protein. Because green mussel meat is more delicious and nutritious than shrimp, fish, eggs and meat, and because mussel shells are used to process mother-of-pearl handicrafts, and because they are easy to raise, with low farming costs, mussels are raised extensively in the waters of China, Thailand, Philippines, France, Spain and elsewhere.

We're living in the future. Well, at least it's not the Russian troll farms!
No doubt AI 😅. And the response to your observation is "thank you"
😂 just because they all the accounts were created four months ago. And have a super generic picture on them. And leave generic comments. That is no reason to be suspicious of them😂😂😂
@SkiSkillsMontana is true.🤪 I may be overly skeptical 🫤 The fact that some repeat verbatim is probably a coincidence 😅

The natural habitat of the open sea enhances the taste complexity of farm-raised mussels, offering a unique and delightful culinary experience.
That gives marine species a special flavor.
Really enjoyed watching it. It is amazing video, great farming

Farm-raised mussels at sea bring a taste of the ocean directly to our tables, with a flavor that reflects the pristine waters they are cultivated in.
That will make the son taste the best it can.
i like the taste of the oysters more than the mussels, the taste of the mussels is a bit difficult for me to swallow, the video is very good and very beautiful. thanks for great video
Thank you for liking our videos.
These are obviously nice and clean ones. Im always wary of imported shellfish, because a lot of it comes from nasty polluted water. This was very good, great farming
Please choose wisely.
Enjoying mussels from the open sea is a direct connection to the bountiful treasures of the ocean

We could use the shells for building materials. Ground dried shells. thanks big farm
Can seashells also be used as building materials?
I’m hungry for seafood now. thanks biggest farm
What kind of seafood do you like to eat the most?
The salty, briny essence of sea-cultivated mussels captures the essence of their oceanic origin.
That helps the food retain its freshness.
The video was high quality and both enjoyable and informative to watch, especially as mussels are among my favorite foods. The narrative script was well-paced and synced, however, the robo voice while pleasant enough, was a bit bland as the only detraction. Nice to see proper accreditation in the description. Though focused on New Zealand, thanks for great video
We really thank you for your support.
Wow
What do you want to say?
Love Mussels
How often do you eat them?
Interesting and thanks. Like shell fish myself. I gather that theres a lot of left over shells? What are done with those? Maybe ground up and used as a fertilizer?, great farming
Thank you for liking agriculture.
Mussels cultivated in the sea develop a robust flavor profile unique to their marine environment.
That helps people who love eating mussels can not forget its taste.
The sea imparts a natural sweetness to mussels, making them a gourmet seafood choice.
This allows mussels to be prepared in many ways.
Very interesting i worked on a pearl farm cygnet bay i would love to work with the collection and rearing of spat. perfect video
oh do you really work on a farm like that
This could've been explained less, but not sure how. Let me guess? You get mussels, my favorite food, from somewhere. Thank you.
yes, it realy delicious, i eat it every week
cool vid. i wonder if the water there is super clean because of all these mussels. thanks so much
The water there is very good for raising large quantities of mussels.
Interesting video ❤
Thank you and hope you will continue to support us.

The sea-to-table journey of farm-raised mussels ensures freshness and a connection to the natural elements that influence their taste.
That's right
are the mussels for local consumption or where are they shipped to?, great farming
I don't know this either.
The salty sea breeze imparts a distinctive brininess to these ocean-farmed mussels.
Each species has its own unique flavor that will be hard to forget.

Im wondering why they didnt flee from the socks for such a long time ? like your video
I don't know about that but thank you for watching our video.
I hear some invasive species like zebra mussels are they edible? like your video
I don't know either but I think they are edible.
The farming of mussels at sea provides a consistent supply of high-quality seafood while minimizing the environmental impact associated with wild harvesting.
That's good for the clams and the ocean
I usually like the Noal documentaries, but i am a bit displeased at the mixture of geographies and species: we have New Zealand and then we have France, then Chile and probably another country. Blue mussels and then green mussels and the spat is actually oyster spat! Mussels are seeded in bags, but the collected from ropes! Come on! I am enjoy this video. thanks so much
We are glad you like it and hope you will support us more.
Sustainably raised in the sea, mussels contribute to healthy marine ecosystems.
That's right
Mussels cultivated at sea benefit from the constant flow of nutrient-rich water, enhancing their taste and nutritional profile.
That is very beneficial for mussels
Why do the boxes say Product of New Zealand but the individual bags of Pacific Gold say that theyre from Chile? thanks so much
I don't know about this either, maybe that's where the bag was made.
In Manila, farmers set bamboo poles at the coastline and wait for wild mussels to stick themselves in and grow at the pole.
It also makes harvesting mussels easier.
Sea-cultivated mussels are a delicious source of protein with a naturally tender texture.
How wonderful that would be
Im not gonna lie if this series had an actual person voicing over them, I would literally watch every one
yes, how are you today?
I love mussels but I feel the Gout already
so you should not eat them anymore
@@TonyFarmUs I live on the wild side so I eat them. In moderation 😄
Sea-raised mussels boast a taste of the ocean in every succulent bite.
that's really cool
Billions? Seriously, Man! No one can even count to a billion!
But I think they can do that
GOOD FOR THEM!!!!! Aqua farming is the future. Those who harvest wild fish & shellfish have gotten so good at what they do
Fish & Game depts worldwide have to limit the hours, yes thats right-HOURS they can fish for a species as they have harvested
the natural stocks to their limits and without F&G restrictions these species would become extinct in short order. As the worlds
populating is increasing the oceans populations are decreasing.
EXAMPLE: In California the Dungeness Crab season for 2023 is now open for 64 hours only.
Last year the Salmon season was totally CANCELLED to commercial & sport fishing.
Our local tribe had to hold their annual Salmon festival WITHOUT salmon.
!
thanks you very much
