No wonder there are so many hermits in the world,I was such an inquisitive child, these days when I think I have some thing to say,or want to inquire about things, most of the time I just stay quiet . It is better to remain silent & be thought a fool than open your mouth & remove all doubt,Sting, &/or the police sang about, priests, politicians & poets !!Not impressed by the first two,but the poets are numerous & quite often valued !!
I think so, too. I'm learning. Thank you.

@@QutesInMyLife Welcome
The key for me was taking complete responsibility for the breakup. This prevented me from playing the part of the spurned lover.
I had to admit that months, even years before things fell apart, that I had numerous opportunities to be the one who walked away rather than the one left. There were signs. I denied them or rationalized them.
Shakespeare wrote that fear of the unknown “…makes us bear those ills we have, rather than “fly to others that we know not of” and “conscience doth make cowards of us all… .”
The moment I assumed absolute responsibility for the way things ended, I was free.
I put her on a pedestal.
I accepted staying in a relationship that would inevitably implode.
I bought into the belief of an intolerable existence without her.
Less than two months after the breakup, I saw it as a blessing in disguise. I had endured unhappiness and believed myself to be a prisoner of a delusion but it turned out the door to my cell was never locked.
I could have been free at any time I chose and been spared years of pain.
