A lot of people miss it, but when Rick has the Doctor down, he says "Hurry Up" - as in "Hurry up, and regenerate." Rick was waiting for the Doctor to initiate the Regeneration process so he could shoot him. But the doctor disrupted his gun before he started regenerating.
To be fair, Weeping Angels don’t actually kill you, at least not really. When they touch you, they send you back in time by quite a number of years, so you die of old age eventually.
@@Bakesensei Oh yeah. I definitely suggest looking up the clip of the Doctor explaining how the Weeping Angels operate. Shouldn't be too hard to find, considering the first episode they're introduced in is regarded as one of the best episodes in the series.
they mentioned in the analysis that The Doctor can regrow whole body parts instantly while regenerating, so even though he can be killed during regeneration, Rick shooting him wouldn't have done much. the ghost at the end was Rick's A.I. The D-Mat rebuilds everything except for the person that was shot by it, so reality is all exactly the same, you're just left outside of it as a being made of nothing. So stuff like Rick's A.I. is still there, the fact that it looks and talks like Rick is just now a complete coincidence, instead of being based off of a real person. Diane got erased from existence in the Rick and Morty show, but there was still an A.I. of her left behind in canon. Same thing here
Never base your pick on which character is more "brutal" or "bloodthirsty". The rules of Death Battle explicitly state both fighters are assumed to be trying their hardest to kill each other. So factors like willingness to kill basically do not matter.

Oh okay got you , one question so how do you kill the doctor while he is regenerating then ?
@@BakesenseiCarefully
Lol
@@Bakesensei You don't because then their franchise would end and their income from Doctor related things would dwindle over time.
@@Bakesensei One group of aliens (The Silence) spent years building a gun specifically designed to kill The Doctor during his regeneration process.
