Very Happy Birthday!! Try adding rain/window guards to your windows. Had them on my Chrysler T&C. Worked great for leaving window(s) cracked open for ventilation and passing a small cord through, while still providing security. Happy trails with miles of smiles. Best regards.

Let the adventures begin girl, I’m with you. This is going to be fun! I’ve camped in my truck a few times, and there is a lot more freedom when you aren’t pulling a trailer. Purtis creek is my go to when I want to visit trades day in Canton. It’s a real nice state park. You have fun, stay safe, and thanks for taking us along with you. God bless! Happy Birthday!

I use a small space heater in my van. Run a cord with just a crack as I always want air circulating. I do not run the space heater when I sleep but it warms it up very quickly. Running the car also works. I am in Texas and hoping that you got a hotel for these last few days. Way too cold. I love Mini Van Camping. I have had every RV and Mini Van camping is my favorite. I am only a camper though, I have a home. If I had to live in my Van it would be a Cargo Van for sure. Stay warm. I am in Texas and have a goal to visit every State Park. I love your reviews. Thank you
Thank you :-). I have a small space heater but it’s just too crowded in this current set up to feel comfortable setting it up in here. I’m definitely going to utilize it in the van for sure though. I did end up with an extended weekend stay with someone through the snow days in the worst of the temps :-). More coming this week just not as bad. Maybe someday we will meet out there on the road when you are in the Mini Van :-). Take care and thanks for tuning in :-)

I’m believing that the right van will show up when it’s supposed to, and in the meantime I’ll learn to enjoy an even smaller space so my appreciation for the van will be even greater lol
My car camping was temporary between my camper and van (and during cool temps) so the heat didn’t come into play. As far as my van, if I don’t have AC before summer, I’ll be heading to cooler states for most of the really tough temps. I’ll have ventilation windows and a maxx air fan but that wouldn’t be enough for Texas summer lol
Happy Birthday! It’s going to be 6 weeks before we hit the road in our Casita again. ( I’m recovering well from surgery last week). May it will have warmed up by then. It was 7 degrees in Mississippi this morning. 🥶 Enjoy your journey!❤️

Thank you :-). I decided to sell the Casita for ease of constantly traveling from location to location. The set up/breakdown every few days was keeping me from some spontaneous travel and the safety of just being able to climb in the drivers seat and leave if I were to feel threatened. I will have more freedom for sure this way.
I do not have a permanent home anymore but I do have family and friends in the DFW area I could spend a few nights with if things got too bad. I prefer not to but it’s an option:-).
Just saw your other video. Best wishes to you and your travels! My wife and I pick up our new Casita in March. Hope to see you out there on our travels!

If you're in Texas, I'd like to know how you stay cool. I just about died in my SUV there last year from the heat.
