Hi Eloise, love the line & not surprised you love it too. I own SDV, Oud Nude, Angelique Noire & Tobacco Honey (which I share with my spouse) I absolutely love the range & I also love Tonka - the Tonka in the more exclusive offering is beyond beautiful but so expensive. I plan on adding Musc Outreblanc to my collection soon. Thank you for another in depth & lovely to watch review ❤
@@mirasscentbubble I feel as though I should sample Tobacco Honey !! Such a beautiful collection ❤️ thank you so much for watching and your lovely comment :)
Hi Eloise ❤I am hoping to add one of these to my collection soon, Cuir Beluga is so beautiful and the bottles are just gorgeous, thank you for your review 🥰
Thanks for sharing Eloise! I sampled Angélique Noire & Spiritueuse Double Vanille to pick my fav vanilla & AN won. Recently obtained decant of Tobacco Honey❤. I want to try Cuir Beluga - glad to hear the leather is not pronounced.
@@allisonbotts8532 thanks! I completely forgot to mention that I did not get a sample of Angélique noire only because of the Angelica note. Maybe I’m missing out :) Cuir Beluga is powdery but not leathery !
L'Art et Matieres line is exquisite ❣ Gourmand Coquin is still my favorite from the line , an absolute love , SDV is gorgeous , stunning unfortunately the performance isn't great ... added Tonka Imperial bc they were discontinuing , perfect for this time of year
Great video! 😊 For a moment I thought you were about to open the giant 10 (or was it 8) ml discovery set. These were also going to be my choices from the line but I have a hard time justifying the price of these “simple” fragrances. Obviously they have a beautiful hidden complexity to them but they are very “French” 😅
@@SeldomlyOften thank you 😊 the box was bigger than me! lol. It’s hard to justify the price for sure. It’s a smooth, quality fragrance but too pricey! I’ll enjoy this one :) very “French” !!! That’s the image, you are right :)
OlfactoryFactory. I purchased it online. I am not sure if they are based in Canada but I have no issues ordering outside the US (something I do often actually). Hope this helps :)
They are definitely softer fragrances so they aren’t hugely projecting frags. The longevity is average - I can enjoy smelling it on myself for about 6 hours I would say! These are not beast mode frags 😊
@@jeffkoons001I would have to agree with that! Cuir Beluga is much much more powdery and delicate while Material by Amouage is much more “substantial” with more heft to it; it has woody notes and incense. It’s balsamic and smoky. They really are two different things. The Amouage would be longer lasting with more projection and the Cuir Beluga more close to the skin and powdery with amber touches. Hope this helps 😊
It sounds beautiful but the price of these from Guerlain is just not worth it to me. I VERY foolishly blind bought Vanilla Planifolia Extrait 21 and was sadly disappointed. I could not find a decant or sample any where so went for it, will never do that again. You were definitely smarter by testing and trying before buying:)) ENJOY!!
@@CathyVaughn-ph3lr I hear you! I probably should have mentioned that I most likely would not purchase one from this line at full retail price! There are plenty of options for a decant or second hand bottle from trusted sources. I do like this one and too bad you were disappointed. I blind buy way too much too! Thanks for watching :)
Adore my Guerlains
Great description of Cuir Beluga. One of my go to especially now while it’s colder.
I love it 😊
Absolutely agree, Cuir Beluga to me is the far superior Vanilla from Guerlain!
@@Glamourgirlanna I love it !!

Great pickups. I have Tobacco Honey on my to buy list

@ thank you so much
I love Guerlain, but to date, I just can't bring myself to buy anything from their L'arts & La Matiere range. They have so many good ones!!
I love Guerlain as well and am happy adding decants too as my collection is quite large! Thanks for watching 😊

Hows the longevity on SDV and CB?
They are definitely softer fragrances so they aren’t hugely projecting frags. The longevity is average - I can enjoy smelling it on myself for about 6 hours I would say! These are not beast mode frags 😊
How would you compare Cuir Beluga vs Material by Amouage ? Which do you prefer in regards to performance? Thank you
Guerlains generally are not as long lasting as Amouages (Tobacco Honey is an exception)
