It is always wonderful to hear past episodes of the archers. Please, if at all possible, could we have episodes from the 90s and the early 2000s? I really miss them. I haven’t got them on cassette. Could you get them from the archives? It would be so wonderful to hear them.
although its gotten more and more like a soap with some very dramatic storylines its certainly as far as it could tried to keep much of its original elements like the farming and its ups and downs. i think radio dramas are interesting in the way that you can kind of get deeper into the personalities of a character than you can with a tv drama due to the fact your looking straight at them and thinking" wow that's not how i expected him or her to dress" whilst with a radio drama its totally left to your imagination like i always imagined the grundy family to be a family of rough looking tramps with what they wear on a daily basis.
I grew up with the Archers, and I hope it continues for many years.
This is superb
