Today We will learn How to convert Numbers to Words in Dollars using SPELLNUMBER Function in Excel. Spellnumber Function is a UDF (User Defined Function) in Excel.
Therefore,By Default Spellnumber Function is not activated, You have to activate it using VB Scripting. But we are not going to Learn any scripting here.
You only need to know How to Download any File from Internet?, How to copy and Paste a File?
Thats it.In the later part I will show you What to Copy and Where to paste.
As I said before, You can convert any numeric value to Words in excel using excel.
Let’s do it.
How to Use Spell Number Step by Step in WIndows 7, Windows 10?
Step 1: Save SpellNumber File in your Computer:
Create a New Folder in your Computer Where you want to save Your Addins. I created a new folder in “My Documents”, Copy and Paste the Downloaded File in same folder.
Step 2: Launch/Open Microsoft Excel
Step 3: Click on File -Options.
Step 4: Click on Addins from the options.
Step 5: Click on Go where Excel addin is Selected from the drop down menu.
Step 6: A New small window will pop up. Select Browse option and locate the location of your Folder in which you saved your SpellNumber Addin.
Step 7:Finally to activate the addin Click the Checkbox (tick right) in front of spellnumber and Hit Ok.
