Altrincham had a good season that season. I saw them beat Runcorn 1-0 in the fa trophy final at the end of that season

That No 'Spectators on the pitch' sign is still there although not attached to the gate anymore. I was looking at it last night from the turnstile blocks thinking i've not seen that before.

There's an out-take shown on that year's Sports Personality of the Year. John King bursts out laughing and Barry Davies asks what the issue is. John King replies that looking at Barry Davies' forehead he keeping there's rabbits painted on there and that they look like hares from a distance.
