this kind of content is gold, haven't seen it in any photo school at all
Wow, this is packed with value! These tips are essential for anyone wanting to turn their passion for fashion and beauty photography into a thriving business. Thank you for sharing your expertise! 💼📸
Thank you so much! ☺️
Watching your last video on pricing I realized how much easier it would make my life to just separate the cost of photos from shooting.
Also while I've had a few clients pay for additional photos, I found that most just stuck to what was included in their package, which was usually 10 or 20 photos.
Thank you! I always ask for a deposit, and yes, communication is everything. Yes, retouch work should be paid separately. Clarifying everything from the beginning is essential.
Regarding pitching, even though it is quite overwhelming, I do it quite often. Thank you for your mention of tests. It helped me to make a decision. Up to now, I have done a lot of tests. But as a freelancer from 2023, I realized that I can't do so much free work unless it's something really good for my portfolio. It becomes less productive for me doing all these tests. Thank you so much , that was really helpful and it just dropped on my feed at the right time. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the valuable tips :)
Thank you for the great tips. Can I ask you do you use some kind of CRM or online database to organize your leads and workflow when you are pitching or working with a client on a project?
I've trialled various CRM platforms before including Honeybook and Bloom! They're both great options for organising leads and workflow 😊Otherwise excel is also a solid choice!
Great video!! Regarding pitching to brands, I have researched brands on linked in but haven’t come across who to reach specifically to contact. Is it mainly just sending a general email or how would you go about that?
Apologies for the late reply! Thank you 😊
Yes so the best thing is to find a specific contact on LinkedIn, (based on their position in the company, often for me it could be the art director or campaign director, etc.) Then visit the website of the company and see if there's any contact details there. If there's no specific contact details for art direction or campaigns - then I'd try to guess the email by using the name of the contact I'd found on LinkedIn + the company address extension. For example - jane.doe@sephora.com 🙂
@ great thank you
😍
