Hey, Nick. In this 19:00 situation, what if black plays C19 to destroy white's eye potential there. White will respond with A17 as you said. And then black will play on B16. Isn't white dead? Thanks...
Hey Nick! Long-time watcher, first time commenting. Love your videos. I was thinking the same thing about the 19 minute point, though. I keep playing it out on my board and it seems like the sequence of black C19, white A17, then black B16 keeps white down to one real eye and kills. This pattern with the opportunity for whilte to invade comes up a lot in my games so I'm really hoping to be able to fully understand it.
This situation really depend on the outside stones. If white is strong outside and black had no other stones, for example if the C11 stone was white, after black C19 white could cut at D14 and after black ataried that stone from one or the other side and connected white could come back to play A17 or B19 and continue the regular sequence. In the end white would have one eye but the group that black didn't push out with would have no eyes and white would win the capturing race.
17:55 why did white play 3 moves consecutively lol at 34:49 i tried some stuff and i think white actually lives and connect to other group when played D-15 instead of connecting. Or at least i couldnt kill it..
Hey nick I think it’s time for another mi yuting video. He is doing really well at the moment and became the number 1 in the world in terms of go rating.
He teaches double digit kyu classes and uploads them, so I don't think it's a choice he made, but I don't know. Andrew Jackson has a few single digit kyu classes posted on his page though, if you haven't tried them yet! In my opinion, Nick is more engaging, but that may also be because I'm a double digit kyu lol
I think most of my material is on the cusp of SDK...so if you find that these are not advanced enough, I'm going to suggest you search for more dan-level lectures. Of course, a number of my videos (such as the "My Robot Overlords" series) take a look at higher-level analysis.

The anticipation is killing me
Good invasion variations to go :D

Hey nick would you consider to make single digit kyu lessons?

The majority of the students in his classes are single digit kyu anyway, and most of his lessons are appropriate for that level.

i've reached sdk by watching these lectures and they're still helpful
I learned something, today. And, when I remember what it is I'll make fundamental usage of it. - LOLOL, LOLOL, LOLOL !
