I was down at Sennen cove a few weeks ago and got extremely soaked in torrential rain……..no matter I am waterproof and had a van so a quick change of clothes and a cuppa and I was happy. Great place. Many thanks for your video. 😉🚍⚓️🇬🇧👍🍷🍷

You have been so lucky with the weather. You were here just at the right time, we’d been developing webbed feet beforehand it’d rained so much. Lovely section along north coast from Sennen to St Ives. Walked a lot of it last year. Look forward to seeing the next instalment 👍🏼

The weather was great - just a little windy and cold sometimes but we just wrapped up up and get on with it 😊 we left last weekend when rain was due a couple of days earlier than planned and had a great impromptu family weekend at mums with my sister 🚐 we really liked that section particularly Nanjizal and Sennon 😊 Trevose head peninsula is next weeks coast line

It is a really wonderful part of the UK - we had a great time and still feel like we missed out more than we saw. We did think it was a good time to travel as it was so much quieter on the beaches and in the towns compared to when we used to visit in the summer holidays.

We know St Ives well having holidayed there for a number of years. Our friends stayed at that campsite and from the look of your view had the same pitch! It’s certainly a wonderful view and a good time to go to St Ives as it gets very busy in the summer. Enjoying your vlog!

Hi there Richard and Jackie 🥰🤗!
I’ve watched a few documentaries and travel videos about Cornwall, but I love your videos a lot more 🤩!
They boast that personal touch, general or average media offerings certainly miss and that’s quite OK, as media content for broadcasting has to be as versatile, multi-layered and, unfortunately, „only scratching the surface“ as possible!
To me, perfect video- and photography, having been very active in photography until 2014 myself, I think I can judge that quite well, chapeau 👍🏻!
I just love every single aspect, location and natural treasures you’ve mentioned, but I am particularly fond and impressed by the scene with the herd of ponies and that bird of prey hovering over the area, absolutely stunning and gorgeous!
Any clues on the bird species?
Ah, before I forget: any mentionable hassle with the locals over the right way to prepare your scones 🤔🙄😬😘?

    • @earlyretirementwanderlust
      @earlyretirementwanderlust  6 месяцев назад +1

Thanks for such a wonderful comment...you have made our day and its only 0830!
We really do love the camera stuff- it came out of our love of still images but we cannot believe how much we are enjoying videography on our travels.
No issue on the scone front for me...I am firmly in the Cornish camp and will defend that view till my dying days😂😂😂 Jam on first to protect the surface of the scone, then cream on top.
      Thanks again. R

@@earlyretirementwanderlust Oh, thank you very much, you’re most welcome 🤗🥰!
Well, I’m on the cornish side too and I discovered, it’s a good way to prepare scones or any other kinds of bread, when liquid honey is involved!
I might be wrong, but I thing the lactic acid in dairy products lowers the viscosity of the honey even more and it just runs and drips off your breakfast roles!
The honey makes the surface of the bread kinda crusty crispy, but that’s still better than getting yourself spilled with honey all over 😬!
Have a nice Monday and, of course, week bursting full of all the adventurers and endeavours you can get, enjoy 🤗🥰😘!
I’ll be getting in touch via your homepage, so please look out for an email from a hybrid of a marine mammal and a freshwater fish 😘!
