Well he is arguably the best zoner in the game, with full screen mid projectiles that launch, Overhead projectiles that can be amplified into Low splash damage (which do the most projectile damage in the game), long range mid strings, plus frames, great jump in buttons, an auto shimmy string and can turn into the opponent and use their moves And krushing blows, but with more damage.
So he definitely needs the extra combo damage.
XVCCI I don’t run into him enough to agree with you and when I do people can really do a combo that good. They just use special moves. However I’ve played against a guy who was a god with him. But this dude had no life. He was like 1000+ wins to like 500 loses and had to much time on his hands

Yeah. NRS ruined Injustice with the nerf 'em all approach. They also ruined the ending times of MKX with shit like that. Like they left Impostor Shinnok a godlike character with absolutely no weaknesses and hilariously overpowered set, and yet they nerfed the 2 already worst variations of Triborg for no fucking reason (what the fuck was that cyrax/csz nerf) and then they went overboard with the smoke nerf, while doing nothing to Sektor who was pretty good and still is. What the fuck is NRS thinking, I just can't get it. They ruin characters left and right and leave certain favorites overpowered as shit and then they wonder why their games die so fast.

Shang Tsung doesn’t have any good variation moves

I do fj3 11 db1 R ff11 bf2 R its about 25% which isnt that great for two bars but if you do his overhead and miss the first attack (f1 d2) it launches and you can ff11 db1 R ff11 bf2 r its about 30%

Lui Kang doesnt need a nerf, he’s fine where he is considering he has no good 50/50s (er any 50/50’s for that matter) in his combos. None of them lead to overheads. The only “50/50s” he has are his teleport ability, which is not a game stealing 50/50, and his nanchaku stance, which also wont grant you the game. You can just block low to Liu Kang and punish his attacks all day and win the game that way. I say all this as a Liu Kang main
Punish Liu Kang's attacks? You can go infinite with his kick combos, you don't even have to finish the string. And a lot of people don't know about the gap and online it's even harder to attack during the gap. If you mess up, you get a KB for your trouble.
And if they do know about the gap and punish, no problem, you just add a parry or fireball at the end. Not to mention giving a Parry KB on wake-up attacks to one of the most pressure heavy characters is kinda messed up. 500 unbreakable (you just used bar for wake-up) damage is no joke.
I'm not saying he's unbalanced or that he deserves a nerf, but he's definitely one of the most annoying characters to play against

I main Liu Kang. He is by far not the best. He's very easy to punish. No overheads so Idk why anyone blocks high. The parry, Low fire ball are the only DECENTLY safe way to end the forward 4,3 string and standing 1,2 is the only other stager he has.
