I know it's been a while, but do you have any updates on how the mawl held up? Holding zero, durability, IR illuminator brightness, etc. Thank you for your time!
The MAWL disassembles like the real one... the screw holding the battery cap on is what you need to unscrew to separate it. You're not dumb, its not very intuitive. but it works very well. IDK about whether it holds zero though, I just got one of these airsoft ones to compliment my real one on another rifle. If it DOES hold zero, I'm going to be pissed that I spent nearly 2k for a used one. But I will then proceed to buy a few more KOs.
@@josephgray6354 I haven't had any shift on mine, however the range setting switch busted off (it's plastic, and feels lesser quality than my real c1... I'm not a expert in types of plastic though). Out of the box the buttons don't operate the same as the real ones, and there is a lot of function missing under the hood (the real one has double/triple tap programming capabilities) but using this for a backup rifle to supplement your primary rifle is just fine. I like to keep my manual of arms the same across my weapons, so having some sort of IR device on my rifles is a must. these are definitely good to go for light to moderate use. I won't take it into war, but I would definitely use this at the range or home defense if necessary. tested it out on my 300 BLK SBR, so 5.56 shouldn't be a problem.
@@vonscherfarms925 do you have any more c1s in stock that are potted? I'll be getting ready to buy 2 more by end of summer... rather give my money to someone stateside.
I own that mawl and it's just like a real one. You need to remove the cable for the battery cover, then it will allow you to pull apart then swap sides. There's a little torx screw that comes out then you can slide that retainer off, then pull it apart. A real MAWL does not have a white light function. VIS, IRL and IR ILUM
@@Solidous281r6 oh yeah i've seen it come apart. I'm more bummed about the fact you have to hold the button down for several seconds to activate the laser. Should be instantanious for momentary and hold for staying on.
@vonscherfarms925 so aside from the metal or plastic mawls..which ones also had issues? .. and the sotac perst 4 I've heard us awesome for zero on 5.56

I did end up figuring that out! And actually was pleasantly surprised to see the electronics were potted

@@lincolnpascual I have a couple brown ones
Are the lasers coaligned on the MAWL?
That's a bummer about the MAWL's switchology. You'd think enough people have complained about it that it should have been fixed by now.

The lights are great! I’ve had mixed reviews on the mawls, ther Persts on my website are really solid units

Where do you find these clones?
Vonscherfarms.com
aliexpress. dont overpay..
Bro just unscrew the battery cap and pull both end’s STRAIGHT apart do NOT twist apart!!!! 🙄
That also wouldn’t have worked. There was a set screw which needed to be removed
