Arsenic and Old Lace is my Halloween tradition. I love it and watch it every year. I’ve also got The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store on my TBR. If you haven’t read Donkey King Kong by the same author, it’s great too!
Awesome video and journal setup! I enjoy watching reading journal setups but never thought to make one…until now! Love that you mixed books and movies…and perhaps music on the ‘other media’ page. You’ve left me feeling inspired and I may or may not copy this entire setup. ❤
You had me at Harry Potter. Love love love the series and Jim Dale is amazing. I took a screen shot of your books to see if I’d be interested. Thanks for the video.
He’s the most amazing narrator I could listen to him read for hours (and I’ve already listened for many many hours haha) I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
I’m using this journal for my 2024 reading journal as well and have enjoyed trying to figure out using a lined journal after using dot grid for my previous reading journals.
The Modern Girl's Guide to Magic by Lindsey Hall is a great 1st book to her Romantasy Rom Com series. It was on Kindle Unlimited when I read it earlier this year
I'm currently obsessed with the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett. Another all-time favourite read that just has my heart is Fire by Kristin Cashore. It's part of the Graceling series. Concerning movies, I don't really watch movies or TV-series anymore, but I absolutely adore Tangled and Modern Family. They're my comfort media, so to speak. 💫
This was absolutely lovely to watch your set up! I'm currently in my classic books era (currently reading Count of Monte Cristo). My favorite book series has to be Wings of Fire almost purely because me and my nephews have been buddy reading since it started but I also have to mention I am very much in the Camp Half-blood rather than a Hogwarts boy. As for movies, Howl's Moving Castle hands down (really I'll got for any Ghibli) and my favorite show has to be Captain Harlock from 1970's, as I remember watching it with my dad and us having a blast with the Romance of space pirates fighting the good fight for the people. If you want an a stunning Christmas movie to watch to top the year off, I highly recommend 'Tokyo Godfathers'. Its a masterpiece for this time of the year.
I've loved so many of the books on your 2024 TBR. You're going to have a good year with those. Also, I recommend Mr. Right with Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell. Super good, super funny. And my favorite book is Hating Game. I've re-read it more than any other book. Always fire.
Picking favorites is so, so hard, but two books/series I’ve enjoyed this year are the Shadow King series by Sylvia Mercedes (Fantasy Romance trilogy) and The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas (Contemporary Romance stand-alone). For favorite movies, one of my top picks is Bringing Up Baby with Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant. It’s a great screwball comedy-cute and very funny!
I have a top-5 list of favorite movies, but I think I'm gonna have to go with A-Team with Bradley Cooper as my favorite-favorite movie😉 I love action but it's soooo funny too!!! As for books, I really enjoyed "The Butterfly Garden" by Dot Hutchison (though the subsequent books weren't near as good)...murder/mystery/serial killer thrillers are my jam. I've been working on my 2024 reading journal layouts off and on since November and I can't wait to start filling my pages next week!! 🌟
:🌟 Favorite book(s): the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, favorite movie: I don't think I have 1 favorite, though I am a huge fan of the Avengers universe.
I have a video where I go more into depth on collaging (September Reset), but not specific to my book and movie prints. I can add that to my video to do list!

@@VioletPhoenix922 What a great Halloween tradition! Thanks for the book recommendation, I haven’t read that one yet. I will add it to my TBR.

I feel the same way! I’m interested to see if I like working in this lined journal compared to dot grid 😋
Favourite movie: Sliding Doors. Favourite book: tie between Love Story, and Lover's Dictionary. I like your taste in movies! :)

fave movie national treasure
fave book cloud cuckoo land
National treasure is SUCH a great movie! So underrated in my opinion!
How did you print the cute little book covers?! 😊
I saved the book covers from Google Images to my computer, used Google Slides to put them into a layout, and printed them out on sticker paper 😊
⭐️
I love this ❤. Where can I get the stencil you used for the bookshelf?
Thank you! Pretty sure it was part of this stencil pack 🫶🏻 a.co/d/dZuvhg5
