- Hello There!
Today we are starting a new series on a very interesting RTS/Auto Battler that came out a few days ago. In this game you can control one of 3 factions in story missions or skirmishes as you forge giant foundries of war and fight with countless ships in the Spance.
Game Info/Link store.steampow...
RTS base builder with constant production and minimal micromanagement. Direct fleets of autonomous ships in huge battles. Features a singleplayer story campaign with 3 distinct playable factions and many subfactions, and full level editor. Test your abilities in the shifting tides of the Spance.

Wow what a rush I got access to this faction again this morning and the video only finished uploading 30mins ago 😅🤣 Regardless that is it for my faction showcase's on this game for now :) we will be uploading the rest of my story content on this game daily from tomorrow onwards we still have many missions to go through.
I look forward to playing this again when they complete more campaigns and especially in trauma mode :)
Oh look, it is the funny faction someone (definitely not me) made. Nice video! I hope you enjoyed! Unfortunately Phase does nothing at the moment.
Great work so far!
i gotta know are the devs of this game fans of starcraft lol its legit just tug of war custom games xD looks really good though
@@TorrentOfficiall It is based on Obliterate Everything
@ThreatXtra Thank you
Your energy is amazing. Infectious. Thanks!
I do love playing games I really enjoy thanks for saying :)
Man, super intense fight! I was really hoping you were going to be able to pull through!!
I was rooting for you for sure!
artillery spam is definitely the hardest to defend against when trying to show the ships lol, good on you for giving it your all though!
It is unfortunate that the patch also buffed skirmish ai hahah they really did spawn a lot of ships!
Maaan this faction looks so fun.
I just realized that the filter is more efficient in terms of matter produced per matter spent since 0.24 matter/sec / 12 matter =0.02 matter/sec (filter) while 1.3 matter/sec / 90 matter =0.0144 matter a sec (Sieve)
23:29 i talked to the dev of this faction (aleks) a few months ago and he was planning to add phasing from Vega Conflict's Pharmakon faction.
Basically, every x seconds, your entire fleet enters a phase state where they are immortal and fly faster at the cost of weapons. Not sure how it will be implemented in ATS, but im excited for this feature!
(Rip Vega Conflict, btw. Another cool game ruined by corporate monetization... 😢
Vega conflict was pretty cool yeah. In ATS the "shared energy network" will be the most important feature preserved from Vega Conflict. Past that anything could and might go haha
@aleksanderwit well well wellll... look who it is :p
@@joyous18 Perhaps, hello there. This video was reccomended to me haha
One thing I couldn't grasp is why did you keep on placing your production further and further and further away from the frontline?
and damn some of the other missions feel damn imposible on trauma
Phase unfortunately isn't implemented yet - it technically functions currently, but only certain Tychon units will be compatible with it and none of them are in the game yet. The faction will basically be split into a "low tech" tier 1 (the stuff that they currently have) jand a "high tech" tier 2 (doesn't exist yet) which will involve phase and other more specialized mechanics.
Ahh i see i look forward to seeing it in action
Died in 2011 and born in 2025
Welcome back, obliterate everything
I love the look of the game do you know if there will be multiplayer?
I think they said no for this game due to scope limitations however I would recommend confirming on there discord :)
i think you wasted a bit of potential. you could expand really fast in any direction and build forward outpost harrasing the enemy base with turrets! anyway thanks for the video!
26:00 Js sounds bad azz
waid how did you get to play it, is there a test version of the game? I cant select them at all in skirmish
also I think the key rn for this faction is to use a LOT of gladiators; they are produced quickly and are very durable for how spammable they are, while still packing a decent punch, so I feel they are an excellent backbone for the faction especially since their specialist light ships have a tendency to kill themselves from heat damage. Basically, Gladiators are the Goshawks of the faction
This is the indev branch; it's only available to beta testers.
@Owlfeathers0117 darn, shame would have loved to try them out
So this was my re do video i went heavy on glad's the first time and failed as well so tried the other units. I would say we only had what 7 units out of the games normal 20-30 so bit handicap
Thank you. Did you every try "obliterate everything 3"?
No I have not
Our game is based on the OE series and I even got to get some minor input as inspiration for our base bulding AI.
Thanks again. I am very excited to see this game when it releases.
@@aleksanderwitcan definitely see the inspiration, you did a great job!
@ Thanks!
More ICBM: Escalation videos?
Alas no for a long time i have a busy schedule for months at this point I did say with ICBM that was always going to be a short series with some spare time i had over the holidays
Just looking at how you build I think yóu waste copious amounts of matter/time using cinders to expand, from the looks trusses are way way way more efficient because they create distance which then lets you expand out to all sides with buildings that have connections themselves. You seem to be to focussed on to keep everything condensed like if you are playing the other factions which are constraint by the circles.
I also noticed when you played the green faction days ago against the robot you had massive trouble against Hasti because they have so much armor and soak up so many shots from smaller ships. I have not seen you chose unit builds based on armor.
On top of that at one point you say the enemy has so much point defense, which in my mind means you should have just build the big shotgun ships. But maybe I am wrong. I've watched all videos of you playing it still trying to decide if I want to get this game. I feel like a multiplayer version as in pvp could be quite fun, but maybe with some limited waypoints in that case, and unit limits not allowing the nuke for example.
I only had a few hours to jump into the faction this morning so was all quite rushed but.
Trusses only have 2 points of connection so you would not be able to build really anything at all using them as a main base structure.
In the main menu you can see the tychon base has many utility structures on a larger scale in its base we do not have access to that seemed to provide large amounts of connections points. This faction is still in development so the only options we really had where the 1 by 2 chassis with 4 connections or the long trusses that I think around around 1-5/7 long with 2 connections I would assume once the faction is more developed we would see far easier ways of playing with them before public release.
We had a very small roster of units to deal with but I would say the shotgun ships defence being armour based would not of fared much better on mass vs the kontalians in this particular match as they went mass heat arty melting them alive.
As I say though as the faction is in development we have really no idea what to expect in the future it might have long range capital ships that would easily destroy the enemy's back line
@ThreatXtra What I mean by trusses is that you use a truss to get distance and THEN put a turret there or something else that has more connections if that makes sense. You don't need to confine yourself building so tight, sure the base will alot of holes and unused space, but this race seems all about using as little buildings as possible to connect as many things as possible. At least thats how I look at it.
Also I think syncing yards and building in an order for ships to go to the frontline might also be a good tactic, tanks to soak up damage and dps behind them, at least in the beginning where there aren't big blobs. Same thing when you build yards in a line away from mthe enemy your ships trickle in in low numbers, I think you fare better building yards horizontal to the front, with the tanky ships closer and the dps behind if they have the same flightspeed and sync those up. Thats how I look at it. But yeah as you say, missing balance and buildings, but this faction might be overpowered because it doesn't need to build base structures for buildspace ontop of missing alot of ships and buildings.
31:44 Purple thing
Is this faction playable already?
No it is still in testing at the moment :)
