I gotta say as a fellow washed up 31 year old, I'm super impressed with your exit velos. Finally decided to get mine tested and while I was never a big power guy I only topped out at 90.1mph. Time to really hit the gym and swing more 😅
@@ilusionclan no it's not too bad, I was a decent player back in the day, didn't do anything with it but after watching all these videos I was figuring I was gonna be mid 90s, bit of a reality check

You will undoubtedly hit mid to upper 90’s consistently. You have many more years before you’re washed up, take it from someone who is.
My son started swinging the new voodoo this past weekend. It upped his hitting game dramatically after a serious slump using the Select PWR, which is more endloaded. He also had a Bonesaber Hybrid and Atlas that he never used. Both bats were noticeably heavier feeling in the hand. The Voodoo One is toothpick, similar to the old Stinger Missile 2. If you want bat speed and decent pop, the voodoo one is it.

Once the durability issues are gone for all their bats they may be one of the best competitors out there. The durability issues is what turned me away from Demarini

Would you guys think about doing a vandal lev3 review? I’m seeing that it’s down to $300 this year, interested to see if it’s a cheaper bat that can hang with the voodoo one.
I would hesitate on saying that you should go down on length just because of the weight. Length affects effective bat speed, swing weight, AND accuracy. The longer the bat compared to your proportions, the worse the accuracy, but if you go too short, you gotta change your swing, causing you to lose power. There's a certain relation to bat length and a person's size that should not be touched. Between the voodoo one, atlas, bonesaber hybrid, icon, and Stinger Nuke, there is no excuse for having to change your bat length When I do bat fittings, first thing I do is find the ideal length of a bat. THEN I do swing weight analysis
I have an old BESR DeMarini Vexxum that I bought for fun and never got to it use much. I don't think it has more than 50 hits on it. I'd love to see these guys use it lol.

I’m getting a custom atlas and it’s nice that the bat is basically a perfect bat. Good power, sweet spot, swing weight, barrel size, and most importantly the price. Is there anything I missed.😂❤
Funny that Rapsodo shows consistently higher exit speeds than Hittrax. - I’m also curious if manufacturer-supplied bats come with swing weight info, as your scale is a bit inconsistent (but appreciated), especially compared to Bat Digest - which also has some incorrect data. Not sure why bat makers stopped marketing that info. Would love to know if the 33.5 Atlas swings a touch lighter than the 33.5 Cat X Connect. - It’s also crazy to me that Wilson hasn’t been sued in a class action. Like no one talks about it. - Also, for parents watching these videos trying to decide on a bat: the only difference is the size of the sweet spot // barrel. Exit speeds *should be the same across all bats when hit in the sweet spot. If a bat can deliver top exit speed across more of the barrel, it’s a winner (other things equal). Bat Bros have never really addressed that. For most kids and smaller HS players, lighter bats are easily better for muscles still growing.
This has nothing to do with a VooDoo One, but instead something my son & I came across (& an idea for the BBBros). Have you guys ever messed around with a lacrosse ball? My son is starting his first season of 14U (BBCOR -3), I got him a used Atlas, 29/26, smaller, but was going from a 29/19 Cat 9 ... so sacrificed length for lighter weight. Hope it works out.
this is a smart move. dont buy into the bs of forcing a 13 or 14 y/o kid to automatically buy a 32/29 so you don't have to buy another one later down the road. the smart move is getting him the bat that he can get through the zone fast enough that isn't too long or too heavy for him. My son did the same jump 30/20 to a 30/27 catx and the transition was awesome, we initially bought into the 32/29 hype for his first bbcor and it was too long, too heavy, couldn't control it or swing it effectively and he was getting frustrated often. Even towards the end of his 14U summer season we sized up to a 31 and it took minimal effort to get back up to form.
I already got one of the 24 voodoo ones for my kid. It’s crazy light. He’s switching from a Bonesaber hybrid and select PWR which are heavier. Hoping the lighter swing will equal greater batting average.
My kid started using his yesterday. All I can says is that it’s broken his serious slump. He had four official RBIs and another 2 runs after hitting a rocket to the first baseman. He had been using a select pwr and Bonesaber hybrid. Guess my kid swings balanced better. Way better.
