This I feel is like, the way Asgore was intended. It has the bombast of a royal theme, but also preserves the loneliness that is *integral* to how well Asgore's theme works for the king. He's determined, pained, and lonely, and still has that air of regality to him. I feelt he full orchestral arrangements don't ever hit that loneliness, instead framing the fight as something epic and dramatic... When its just a broken man trying to kill a child. I feel they miss the point that this one didn't. Its a cool fight, and there's plenty of room to be bombastic, but to leave behind the sorrow that defines Asgore is just bad.

All the people involved here did great but I got to give it to my boy Danny Flam as a fellow French Horn player myself, this does not seem easy.
