Jerod Mayo is a former linebacker who played for the Patriots and he was a linebackers coach for the Patriots and he might have been a defensive coordinator for the Patriots and now he is the Patriots head coach. He is a defensive minded head coach

I've always liked Mayo, from his playing days here in Tennessee, to his play with the Patriot's. I know why the Kraft's have faith in him, he's a very good guy......he just is NOT head coach material. Give him the chance to be the DC, or outright fire him and bring in Vrabel.
