A stroll along Soi Buakhao showing some bars, restaurants & hotels. Then a mototaxi ride to Soi 6 in Pattaya, Thailand. The mototaxi cost 50 baht where a bolt bike ride would have cost 29 baht.

In Pattaya rn, it is low season for sure and certainly quiet. But I was also here 3-times in an extended trip across November 23/January 24 and it was heaving busy. I was in other places as well (Bangkok, Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai) all very busy. Those who say Thailand is not back to pre-Covid levels clearly haven’t been here. This is my fourth trip since May 2022 when it was VERY quiet and it is most certainly back at, or near, pre-Covid levels. Anyway, this vlog is a perfect representation of Pattaya at the moment and it is nice and chilled and relaxed. Great time to be here.
Is the rainy season that rainy? How many days a week does it actually rain in pattaya and phuket

Like the 'danger factor' rating for the motorbike taxi ride. I usually take a couple when I'm out there but try not to make a habit of it because of the hazards you point out.

Thailand hasn’t recovered from the Pandemic and the tourism industry is nowhere near the same as it was before the pandemic 😷. They have introduced new visas to try and attract more tourists but I predict that it will take another three years before Thailand 🇹🇭 can get back on its feet 🦶
@@adayinthelifeofadrian Perhaps that's a good thing considering how woefully crowded things had become. Perhaps people are getting over Thailand, which is becoming increasingly more expensive. I predict Vietnam will be the future Thailand until the authorities destroy the place with overdevelopment.
