- You know Elvis won Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe, and you know he has plenty of Gold, Platinum and Diamond Records. But Elvis won a lot of more obscure awards than fans may realize.
In this Gates of Graceland video, host Tom Brown and Graceland's Director of Archives, Angie Marchese, take you on a tour of Elvis Presley's Graceland's Hall of Gold in Memphis, Tennessee, to discuss some of the more obscure awards that were given to Elvis.
Many of these awards were for his acting.

Fantastic presentation
I heard you on Sirius XM this morning talking about this Gates of Graceland edition with Argo. I really enjoy the trophy building and other displays at Graceland that display his awards and recognition. Seeing what he was recognized for is amazing. Especially his work with the March of Dimes and other not for profit organizations.
You all do an exceptional job allowing fans to learn more about Elvis. THANK YOU for all of your time, effort, passions, sacrifices, knowledge, etc. Watching these videos is bittersweet as it reminds me of the loss of my friend, who stated working at Graceland when it opened and then moved up the ranks to be the primary liaison between Elvis fans and Graceland, Todd Morgan. Todd and I were the same age and became lifelong fans. It saddened me when, out of the blue, he died. His loss is still felt to this day. Thank you again. Take care. Jeff Schrembs

It`s her job to lie for Graceland . She knows Elvis is 100% alive . Info is running about 20 years behind but he`s alive . The plan might have worked but then the internet came along . Too many cameras to hide from now .
