- The previously installed black box image quality is HD and the license plate is not well identified, so I replaced it with a QHD product.
(I don't like it even if I replacement. ^^)
It took 7 hours to film the video because there was no data on removing the interior material when installing the black box in Picasso. -_-
It's not perfect, but I hope this video will help you a little bit.
기존에 설치되어 있는 블랙박스 화질이 HD로 번호판 식별이 잘 되지 않아 QHD 제품으로 교체해봤습니다. (교체해도 그닥 마음에 안드네요^^)
피카소에 블랙박스 설치시 내장재 탈거에 대한 자료가 전혀 없는 관계로 작업하면서 영상 찍는대만 7시간이나 걸렸습니다. -_-
완벽하진 않지만 이 영상으로 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 합니다.

WOWWW! 09:30 that trick of running the rear cable directly under the roof liner for rear camera is amazing!!! Now i can go install the A129 dashcam which is still sitting in the package.

Thanks a lot for this video! It gave me the courage to apply some violence to my interior panels... :) And installation went perfect! The only visible cable are the few centimeters from camera to the edge of the "mirror box" - then completely hidden cable all the way down to fuse box. There I used one of those "fuse splitters" to get power for a 12V-USB module (from an old "cigarette lighter" USB charger).
This is the highest compliment for me. It feels good to be of help.

Thank you very much! I am going to do this on my old Citroën and Peugeot, however I'm very afraid damaging or blocking the airbags (in the A-pillar, and the curtain airbags near the windows). Could you please explain how to be sure not messing with the airbags? Did you use some documentation?
The airbags are rolled up, so there's nothing wrong with wiring. Let go of your fears and go for it. :)

I'm indeed scared of the airbags, and I'm trying to find resources to understand how to remove the panels, but more importantly to know how to route the cables behind the airbags. Some people also say that the battery needs to be unplugged to avoid accidental deployment... Congrats for doing that without any documentation!

Hi, I started the install today and so far its taken me four hours and Ive just got the front wiring too tidy. Could you please give an estimate of how long this process took you. Curiosity really and too see if Im doing something wrong or bizzarre
I think it took about 3 hours while filming the video.
If you're just doing the actual work, it'll probably take about an hour.
I installed the black box of another car and it seems that the time has been shortened.
The first time it took me a few hours..^^
Does the installation of the rear camera cause radio interference? It does on mine, and it's really bad. If I disconnect the camera from the dashcam (so only the front camera is active) the interference is barely there.
No interference at all. I've never heard of such a case. Could there be a problem with the product?

Can you make a video installing the automatic opening/closing of the trunk? In Brazil the trunk is mechanical/manual
I'm not that skilled. And there are no cases of installation in Republic of Korea.

Im just checking. Finally got everything buttoned up on my car and have only 20mm of new wires visible. About to make the fuse box connection and note you have used F31 as your ACC connection and F29 as a 12v Feed. Does this power the camera when you press Stop/Start Button. why have you got a 12v constant connection? Could you please explain……
I don't know what you mean by 12V feed.
If you look at the video at 14:49, you will see a blue wire in the lower left corner of the screen. This is the Ground wire (-) and connects it to the frame.
The ACC wiring is connected to a fuse that is activated when the Stop/Start button is pressed, and the VCC is connected to a fuse that is always on.
This is to keep the black box active even when the engine is turned off and record images while parked.

Hello, would you be able to tell me if the same procedure applies to the first generation C4 Picasso?
There is no C4 Picasso mk1 in Republic of Korea, so I can't confirm it, but if you google and look at the images, it seems to be no different.
