Siege Animantarax, Day 8
Working on the skin, face and ropes on the bottom today. Mostly focused on getting this done in prep for getting it eventually mounted onto a base - this is so that it will hopefully be a bit easier to handle without having to touch the paint itself and thus damaging it.
I experimented with a couple washes in a small area first before I finally settled on armor wash as the final 'glaze' to bring it all together - I was aiming for a more grey look than a green or blue one, which is what I'd have gotten had I gone with those washes.
I kinda like how it's come out. Not perfect, but it shall do reasonably well and should look better once I have a nice matt varnish onto it. Tomorrow I will aim to likely finish up the armor and claws on the front legs completely.
