Good subject on Sandhyavandanam, that too, in English. Really a welcome feature for the present generation. But alas, no one is bothered to follow this principle. They think that office is everything and Work is Worship. It’s a tug of war in each house on this issue of SandhyaVandanam. Changing the thread on Avani Avittam day is a great thing.

Nowadays although Upanayanam is done as a part of Samskaras but without understanding the basic purpose and meaning of the mantras, it becomes an empty ritual.

Namaskaram Swami. One question - you mentioned that pratah / saayam sandhya vandanam should not be done before. At what time it can be started with reference to sunrise and sunset timings. Should it be exactly at sunrise and sunset time ? I heard from someone that it can be started 24 minutes before sunrise or sunset. Kindly clarify 🙏
