I really feel Discmania has their own scale regarding flight numbers. DD1 is a total meathook. I have not touched their newer discs at all. What an earth are they trying to accomplish with this crap… Great vid still!
I think the flight numbers are fine. I would say with this DD, the fade should probably just be a 1 rather than a 2. But the DD3 and DD1 are fair numbers, similar to the Destroyer/Wraith. MD1, MD3, FD, etc. all fair as well imo. Regardless, glad you enjoyed the video!
Not sure which plastic of DD1 you're throwing but my horizon DD1 had some turn out of the box and only became flippier. Other people who have thrown the DD1 have said similar things.
@@andrewwallace9922 We were throwing the stock First Run S Line. The Horizon DD1 (which came out before the stock S Line) definitely flies less stable than this first run of S Line. Even for me at a lower arm speed the horizon run flies less stable that these S Lines. So ya, at a lower arm speed, for me the S Line DD1 doesn't flip much, for Mac (a pro) it does. Also we were throwing in a tail wind. So that also impacted the results.
I can really relate. Bought a DD1 couple of months ago and after a few rounds it already kept turning just like i want to. Bought one extra 2 weeks ago and that one flies more like a DD3., just can´t get it to turn on a flat release. And both are in same color and weight. The Strathosphere seems to have the nice turn out of the box tho (different plastic).

Im hoping to go hyzer flip to late turn for me. We have a few shots local to me with that shape.
