Micah Parsons trade rumors are here, but are they legit or the hopes of other fanbases? Cowboys Report host Tom Downey says, despite the recent reporting from 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, it’s likely to be the latter. And if Parsons is traded, it would be a Jalen Ramsey or Khalil Mack-esq haul.
Cowboys draft rumors on Payton Wilson, via Bruce Feldman of The Athletic: “One of the most intriguing players in this draft is NC State’s Payton Wilson, who was the best defensive player in the ACC, but he has a medical history that I’m told has some NFL teams reluctant to draft him, despite his physicality, size and tremendous speed. He’s been injury-free the past two years, and I hear the Cowboys and Lions really like him.”

Like it or not, the Cowboys are in a soft rebuild right now. I would totally trade Parsons if you could get good compensation. I would want a 2nd this year. A 1st and 3rd next and a 2nd in 2026. Next year, you would have 2 1st a 2nd and two 3rd to use as ammo to get the franchise QB you want. That's if Dak leaves, of course.
Next years QB class is not good. Trade Dak and start Trey and ride with him. Might be able to get a bridge QB next season to go after someone like Arch Manning
I am on board.. Parsons is starting show the diva side.. And I don’t think he will hold up as an every down pass rusher against those big o lineman.. I fear injury concerns at some point.. I might feel a little different if he was an offballl LB and situational pass rusher..

The cap is real, yes you can structure it but at some point you have to pay the bill. And the only reason San Francisco can pay their players is because they haven't paid Purdy yet. QBs kill the salary cap

He's undersized for a defensive end and a liability in the run game. All they do is run at him. He has horrible body language on the sideline and he's not worth the headache. Trade micha for max Crosby and first round draft pick.

I 100% agree but the root of problem and has been for 30 years has been the front office, that just a fact. Jerry and Stephen don't never hold anybody accountable, that's why having a good GM and football personnel comes into play which the Cowboys have lack for almost 30 years now, let's just called it like it is. I know Michah Parsons have had his issues and I'm defending him at all but it's takes a good GM to hold players accountable like Jimmy Johnson did so a lot of it is on the Joneses who only cares about the bottom line, selling tickets, merchandise, their brand and marketing. If the Cowboys think they can lowball him and want people to just side with them it's not gonna work, he's going to get paid.

Allen is the best choice. He's only 20 years old and doesn't have a lot of mileage on him. He could be the best long-term option at RB for the cowboys. Also, it gives you the thunder and lighting option with Duce in the backfield.

Endlessly backloading contracts just means kicking the can down the road. When you advocate that, you sound like a politician trying to justify endless national debt. The point of football is not to be reminded of how our politicians are destroying our country. When football teams follow the same mindset, football becomes just as depressing as real life.
I'm not sure that Audric Estime and Braelon Allen will be different enough for the choice to matter.
I've mocked Payton Wilson in the second round, but as I think more about his injury history, I'd prefer not to take him that early. If he fell to 216, I couldn't resist taking him there.

I've figured it out. We trade Micah.....trade Cee Dee.....trad Dak.......trade Tyler Smith.....trade Bland........then we'll probably be a good 50 mil under the cap. Of course....we'll be 4-13 but who cares when you have the best cap position of ANY team in the NFL ?????? WINNING !!!!!!
