Maki indeed works really hard, but what Mai said is true "She (Maki) was granted with superhuman abilities" this is even more relevant in the manga, is kind of like Yuji's superhuman body, but Yuji's is a completely different story I will not say here to avoid spoilers.
Maki did work hard to become the way she is but what Mai said is also true. Maki was blessed with superhuman capabilities through a “Heavenly Pact” they differ amongst people. For example, the guy controlling Mechamaru also has a heavenly pact but his basically renders him a living corps while Maki’s makes her superhuman ..despite Heavenly Pacts making some sorcerers even as strong as Gojo because a Heavenly Pact renders you with ZERO cursed energy the Zen’in Clan doesn’t acknowledge it as real power, so Maki was treated terribly
Yes I also think it would be better to write all characters including their School(Kyoto/Tokyo), Grade(Special, 1,2,3,4), Clan(Zenin, ...., ...) , Technique/Ability etc. About Zen'in Clan: So if someone doesn't inherit the clan's technique, they get the lower status in the clan(for example- servant, maid etc). Basically the head or higher ups of that clan consider them as failure. And since those two sisters are "women", those two got the lowest status and had to work more by serving their masters. So no cursed technique & being women is the hard for the people in that clan but that doesn't stop Maki(Mai too) to become strong & powerful
This episode really made me able to choose who my favorite female characters are 1. Miwa: her wanting money is my spirit animal 2. Maki: obvious reasons 3. Nobara: I just love how she's happy with how beautiful she is 4. Mai: Manga reasons The rest aren't fleshed out enough for me
How is Maki not fleshed out? She already got development in the anime. ( Goodwill ) and the period of time between after Sukuna is unleashed and the Junpei Arc begins. As well as Jujutsu Kaisen 0. And the Zenin Arc.
I know you want to believe this is all just hard work, but it's not, not entirely anyway. Im not denying that Maki works super hard to be strong but the fact is she was born with super strength/speed just like Itadori
Guys guys guys... This Miwa thing is very confusing for most reactors. Her "simple domain" isnt domain at all. She just call that "a domain" becose its... kinda like her zone in which she almost always has advantage becose its in range of her weapon. Its not a guaranteed hit. Its "you came into range of my weapon so i automaticly swing that weapon in high speed".
This is such a great episode my favs Nobara and Maki getting highlighted! I felt bad for Miwa and surprisingly Mai too 🥲 though. Maki actually is blessed with super strength like Itadori (in exchange for no cursed energy), so that's how she caught the bullet 🔥
In the Zen'in Clan woman are treated lesser than and twins are a sign of bad fortune. So Maki and Mai were born behind the 8 ball. Then Maki is born with a Heavenly Pact like Mechamaru that sealed her Curse Energy and Technique in exchange for Superhuman Strength and abilities. Which is something if it was a Son of the family they would have supported him with tools to overcome the curse handicap and help promote him. But since it was a girl that wants to disrupt the status quo they're blocking all attempts at advancement.
Actually Maki was part of the kukuru squad, she was trained a lot, they began to disrupt her attempts only when she left the clan declaring she would have returned to become the head.
"if it was a Son of the family they would have supported him with tools to overcome the curse handicap and help promote him". I don't know if you read the manga but SPOILER... Toji was treated very badly just coz he had heavenly restriction. These clans value the curse techniques so much that they'll disregard anyone whether they are a man or woman if they don't have any curse technique.
@@worldwideusbshrimp1229 the most stupid thing is that they knew very well that they were still breathing just because Toji let them. It’s like having a lion in your house and treating it like a rat…
This is my favorite episode hands down. We got to see a lot of the female charcters motivations and this one put Maki as my favorite character on JJK. Also, congratulaions for 80k subs lets gooooo!
14:38 Dude just said no to the canon explanation lmao Maki works hard, yes, but hard work can NOT produce a body like hers. She was born with a heavenly restriction that gave her this superhuman body from birth, not through hard work. But because her and Mai barely had any cursed energy, they were shunned and seen as worthless in their family. And even though Mais technique is INCREDIBLE, she and Maki were born with barely any cursed energy, so something so crazy as creating matter from nothing can barely be used by her. Maki wanted to become strong, independent and prove herself. Mai just wanted peace, she doesn't like fighting and is scared of anything cursed related. But because Maki left the clan the clan FORCED Mai to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer. Basically, even though Maki didn't mean to cause this, because of Makis decision, Mai was forced into regular life risking horrors of war.
The old clans are traditionalists. Anything that doesn’t fit their traditional view of power, they just reject outright. Also because of a certain individual in the past that almost killed Gojo who also had the same heavenly pact as Maki. They fear what the don’t accept and actively try to shut them down or get rid of them. Maki is a blood child so they currently aren’t trying to kid rid of her, but there is a lot more exposition in the manga, that they don’t provide in the anime. Next season though you will probably see Maki shine, depending on how much of the manga they animate. Maki is insanely important and her capabilities due to that heavenly pact are bat shit insane at full potential. The line “twins are an ill omen” are also very key to what they do and what that means in the jujutsu world. So just pay attention to that and remember that for the tragedies and triumphs yet to come.
That recipe at the end it’s actually good. Add hot water the to ramen (better on a stove), then the flavor pack, 😊add some milk after a couple of minutes. Next add some chili flakes or some sliced peppers. Super delicious 🍜😋
You always see people in shows and occasionally real people talking about "paying for cup ramen" or whatever. I have never understood it myself and have to assume people have sensitive stomachs. Like people will say its "too early for chocolate" but I like to eat chocolate for breakfast. Not just chocolate but a piece after waking up is delicious.
Just to give some really needed Spoiler-free Context here: The Zen'in Clan is one of the 3 Big Boy Clans "calling the Shots" in the Jujutsu World. Megumi is part of it too, he just took the Name of his Mother (Fushigoro), but he IS Maki and Mai's Cousin. People born in these strong Clans are ususally born with a Cursed Technique unique to the Clan that is very powerful. Megumi and his summonable Familiars is an Example of such a unique Technique. Maki and Mai however were born as Twins - an Omen of "bad Luck" as stated in this Episode. They basically were born as two People instead of one Inheritor, which makes them special and also explains the Disdain that the Clan has for them - not seeing each of them as a "whole" Sorcerer. Mai didn't inhertit a "Zen'in Special" at all (she just adapted to her "Construction" Ability fitting her Style) and Maki was born with no Senses regarding Curses BUT therefore with an incredibly strong Body. It's not that she "just works very hard" (which she also does xD ), Maki was literally born physically superhuman, I guess you can imagine her as a Captain America in Comparison to all other human Sorcerers. They use cursed Energy to fortify themselves in Battle, Maki just IS tough xD. Itadori is super strong for Example, but Maki is on a different Level entirely. It's not just Strengh, but Toughness and Reflexes as well (shown by catching a Bullet barehanded mid-Combat). She needs the Glasses to even see the Curses, but with some Cursed Tools (aka cool Weapons), her super strong Body is enough to beat even high Level Curses. BUT because she does it all Physically and with the help of Tools and without a Zen'in Cursed Technique, the Clan itself hates her Ways of doing things and makes everything as hard as possible for her. There is another very big Reason, but that's gonna be revealed a couple Arcs later^^
I'd like to add that it's pretty heavily implied Yuji is the same as Maki. Back in episode 1 Megumi went "Maybe he's like Zenin senpai." after he saw his pitch.
@@xXSamir44Xx Well...SPOILER ALERT Not really..actually just no. At the Point you're referring to, Megumi doesn't even know his Father or anything about this specific Ability. He just sees Itadori being inhumanely strong and makes a Guess that he might be similar to his Cousin (who he also cluelessly considers to be "just a very strong human Being"). They are two completely different Beings tho. Maki was born with heavenly Restriction and the following Improvements to her Physique, while Itadori was seemingly born "regularly". We DO know that Kenjaku posessed Itadori's Mom or rather actually IS his Mom, so there's certainly some Irregularity to his Birth or physical Being itself. However, Maki is one very rare Breed of a heavenly restricted "cursed" Child, while Itadori is a regular Child being born to a Superhuman Sorcerer Parent. His Body is superhuman due to his (yet unexplored) genetic Pool, while hers is superhuman due to heavenly Restriction/Fate.
@@ItachiEspada SPOILERS What you said involves a lot of headcanon. It's never been stated that Yuji doesn't have a heavenly restriction. Since he never used cursed energy until after he consumed one of Sukuna's fingers there is a chance that he is. There's also no reason to assume Maki and Megumi don't know about heavenly restrictions. Mechamaru has a very clear but opposite heavenly restriction. I highly doubt it's some kind of guarded secret.
@@xXSamir44Xx Well I'm just going on Facts that have been released and actually stated as of YET :D Although it honestly is A LOT more likely to assume that Itadoris Specialness comes from his Connection to Kenjaku and not by heavenly Restriction as of now. Not to Mention that the Scene with Kenjaku being Itadoris Mom was CERTAINLY not a random Drop of Background Info and is guaranteed to have Relevance later on, is this your first Manga ?! The Fact that heavenly Restriction requires quite the Tradeoff to obtain any given Ability is proof enough to assume that Itadori is definetly not a "cursed Child" in the Sense of the Jujutsu World, so I don't really see it being logical..."It's never been stated that he WASN'T heavenly restricted" is quite the poor Argument xD Dude it has never been stated that Gojo ACTUALLY killed Geto, so we can safely assume he's still alive and maybe Kenjaku doesn't even exist and Geto is just playing us all lulz ! I think we rather stick to what's actually been released and what seems to be the logical Conclusion. JJK DOES have a Powersystem based on Logic after all. Megumi might have very well known about Maki's Abilities, but knowing what heavenly Restriction is and knowing what Maki/Toji are is a completely differnet Thing Mate xD His Reaction to his Fathers Abilities and his later Conversations with Maki make it quite clear that he didn't know of the Extent of having no cursed Energy. Don't go around creating Fiction on things that haven't been stated and maybe focus on the Things that have...
@@ItachiEspada If anyone's making up stuff it's you. And what kind of question is "Is this your first manga?" I know how story telling works. It doesn't have to be about powers. We don't know whether there was a trade off for Yuji or not. His insane physical abilities seem to be imply a heavenly restriction. The fact that there isn't a trade off could easily be explained by him consuming part of Sukuna, like I said before. Your "counter argument" about Geto makes no sense. It's very cut and dry what happened. Yuji and whether he is heavenly restricted or not is completely different. I also highly doubt every single person with a heavenly restriction like Maki's is exactly like Toji. In fact, it was stated he was the only one with zero cursed energy.

Theres something about anges covers of the openings like idk it fills me with joy and they sound fantastic
The Miwa scene 💙
ive been waiting for you guys to get to this episode! its absolutely brilliant
At 16:52 r.i.p rengoku btw ange and carlie that's noritoshi komo guy voice actor is the same actor as rengoku if you guys noticed it
Omggg finally! I was the most excited for this one since Maki and Nobara are my favorites 🖤
Maki has my highest respect. She's so cool
Omg the guitar session was everything 😍 i hope there is a full version!
Love you both ❤
This episode really made me able to choose who my favorite female characters are
1. Miwa: her wanting money is my spirit animal
2. Maki: obvious reasons
3. Nobara: I just love how she's happy with how beautiful she is
4. Mai: Manga reasons
The rest aren't fleshed out enough for me
Miwa is just an innocent(childlike?) female version of Nanami. Money money money. Lol
@@colt1903 Miwa = Nanami without depression
How is Maki not fleshed out? She already got development in the anime. ( Goodwill ) and the period of time between after Sukuna is unleashed and the Junpei Arc begins. As well as Jujutsu Kaisen 0. And the Zenin Arc.
Congrats on 80k 🥳
By the way, the milk ramen is surprisingly pretty good 👌
Angelo be like "one of my favourite fights” after every fight and that's because it's JJK❤️
“Mai you’re not like that you’re not”
This was my favorite character / character development episode.
I love Maki, she’s so cool! When she caught the bullet I went mental. JJK has too many cool adorable ladies~.
I know you want to believe this is all just hard work, but it's not, not entirely anyway. Im not denying that Maki works super hard to be strong but the fact is she was born with super strength/speed just like Itadori
awwww you guys do remember the legend Rengoku ,, respect
Maki 🛐 One of the best characters
Guys guys guys... This Miwa thing is very confusing for most reactors. Her "simple domain" isnt domain at all. She just call that "a domain" becose its... kinda like her zone in which she almost always has advantage becose its in range of her weapon. Its not a guaranteed hit. Its "you came into range of my weapon so i automaticly swing that weapon in high speed".
Actually simple domain is to counter domains denying the sure-hit granted by the domain.
love your reactions guys!
This is such a great episode my favs Nobara and Maki getting highlighted! I felt bad for Miwa and surprisingly Mai too 🥲 though. Maki actually is blessed with super strength like Itadori (in exchange for no cursed energy), so that's how she caught the bullet 🔥
This episode hits very hard after knowing what will happen later from reading manga
So true 🥲
I'm so excited and sad for when the anime reaches 'that' arc!
Riiiiight!? 😢
@@worldwideusbshrimp1229 Not yet. So I didn't read the rest but I'll be starting soon.
@@worldwideusbshrimp1229 the most stupid thing is that they knew very well that they were still breathing just because Toji let them. It’s like having a lion in your house and treating it like a rat…

Wait, hwo was this posted 3 days ago
This is my favorite episode hands down. We got to see a lot of the female charcters motivations and this one put Maki as my favorite character on JJK. Also, congratulaions for 80k subs lets gooooo!
everyonr talking about maki and mai, but novody mentions how awesome nobara was?! i am shocked.
“But who’s eaten your edamame?”
Carlie showed hella restraint there 😂😂
Let's go!! Ange got a haircut 😂😂
18 19 and 20 ahhhhhhhhhhhh im so fucking excited cant wait for next week :D Love your guys cotnent keep up the wonderful work
14:38
Dude just said no to the canon explanation lmao
Maki works hard, yes, but hard work can NOT produce a body like hers.
“She said “Umai””
“Rest in Piece”
DUDE- POOR OUR RENGGOKU T__T
Super delicious 🍜😋
the best episode on this arc
ange's reaction when seeing Mei Mei was funny
@@xXSamir44Xx Well...SPOILER ALERT
Not really..actually just no.
@@ItachiEspada SPOILERS
What you said involves a lot of headcanon.
Thank you for the video
Now you can see why I adore Nobaru more then any other female character in any media. She's the perfect embodiment of second wave feminism and the perfect example of a strong female character.

Although there are many amazing female characters in jjk, my favorite is Maki. The fact that she's got no cursed energy and is such a badass. Also, I hate the fact that higher ups didn't promote her despite her abilities.

This is my favorite episode of this season. I like that it focuses fully on all the women characters, and it discusses patriarchal oppression even in the jujutsu world. And it's not the only moment where stuff like this will be discussed, and I really like jjk for that. Every character in this story has their own personality, flaws and goals, and we could really focus the whole show on any of them.
Maki the clan killer just like itachi
Actually,Maki does possess Superhuman strength, stamina and durability.Without cursed energy,She's physically stronger than every single character except Yuuji.Yes,all the rest, including Gojo,Nanami and Todo. Her Superhuman body makes up for her lack of cursed energy, which is why she can be a sorcerer
IDC WHAT ANYONE SAYS- MAKI BEST GIRL ❤️🔥
they need to hurry up to the todo and itadori fight
