I used to have a Honda steed 600cc (shadow outside of Asia) and apart from when it was really dirty and needed a wash, I used lemon Pledge, sprayed on and polished off. Great for paint, chrome, plastic, vinyl, leather seats and hand grips, windshield, and also my leather jacket and chaps and big leather saddlebags I'd made too.❤😅
Hi Andrew, Thanks for making this video. You referred me here following a comment in a later video. I note that you've not used water. Is that because the bike was dusty rather than dirty? I have a Brompton electric P line and absolutely love it but I am concerned about water, so much so that I avoid going out on it if rain is forecast. However I'm thinking that I'm being silly as commuters need to ride in all weathers and it must be suitably IP rated. I guess you just need to wipe any water/moisture off at an early opportunity. Happy adventures. Allan.
@@allanb2906 Hi Alan, I do sometimes use a hose on a gentle spray and soft brush if the Brompton is dirty but I avoid spraying the motor, luggage block and bottom bracket as much as possible, as you say people ride in the rain

@@kingshum6938
Do you have a Brompton? There is a Manchester Brompton Group on Facebook
@@NottinghamshireMadness I have joined them but not many events.

I has been a very slow take up, it only takes one person to lead a ride then others follow
Worth it !!
I think so, let someone else have the use and fun from it, I’m getting to the age where it’s pointless having stuff sat in its box.
