"Us old fogeys" felt exactly the same when they launched the 60kms short wave 5 which had the 50 and up (us) together with the youngsters (20-29). Enjoyed watching this as I did not get a chance to enjoy the scenery as I was too busy trying to keep up and not fall of the bike. 😊

Congratulations bud! I have a camelback podium bottles that comes with rubber spout cover, easy to flip open with thumb and close with index finger, that way you avoid drinking the dust and “other” particles on the road. Thought might help. Ride safe always. 🚴♂️
Thank you for that! Yes I have those from Camelbak too, and yes they do keep the nasties out of the drinking spout and they are fantastic! But… I forgot to put them on for this ride 🤦🏻♂️🤣. Cheers!🍻

First gravel race for me hopefully not the last. Found it very technical and mentally very challenging having to focus all the time on the terrain while you are casually doing a vlog while racing. Kudos JJ for finishing 100km and making a cool vlog at the same time ! Cheers
