Thank you so much for sharing these awesome concerts on RUclips. Some of us are dealing with illness and family situations and money troubles… we can’t come in person. You are very generous to share the beauty of your music with us. We will get there in person someday!
@@Jojo_jeez I was watching it with my 75 yr old Dad this morning and he told me about his first memory of music is from when his Mom and her sister would play guitar and sing together but specifically them doing You Are My Sunshine is the song he remembers🌞 It’s pretty amazing to think about how the tradition has carried on through this O Billy show. From all the way back in the hills in 1950’s West Virginia, all the way to y’all today. Happy Thanksgiving!
Billy is a national treasure and this tribute to a great movie (which was also a pivot point in the exposure of roots music to the general public) is only one more example. If you haven't seen the movie, see it. While you're at it, watch "Down From the Mountain", which is a performance of the movie music at the Ryman.

Pls Billy, stop sharing these, stop being so damn awesome to us, and stop being better and better throughout the year cause i just cant love you and the band any more, Its just too much man 😂😂 You guys really are out of this world ❤️ Much love from a random guy in Hungary, i swear there is barely anything I hope more than to see you guys alive one day
This is absolutely next level. So much respect being shown for the source material. there is NO ONE better to have done this tribute. PLEASE release a vinyl of this show
Monster show from such a talented guy. I have been seeing him play since 2014 and I knew at the first time I saw him he was the real thing. My how he has blossomed.
It was a pleasure to be there. One of my all time faves in 25 years of concert going. What an absolute treat. When the Levee Breaks was so badass I get chills thinking about it.
This is so funny because George Clooney was my neighbor growing up and he couldn’t carry a tune to save his life. Wish Billy had been around then! I am going to ask George if he watched this. If not, tell him too.
Does anybody know all the song titles? The song after he was talking about the horny toad is a cover of... I don't know, Black Sabbath, or someone else from the grunge era, not sure.
It's Planet Caravan written and originally performed by (you guessed it) Black Sabbath and later covered by Pantera (which I loved more than the original).
Plz dear gods of music could u cut up the concert in individual songs? especially the one saying let in a little light. ps u should ddress up like this all the time

I was fortunate enough to be there as my first ever Billy Strings concert. I have since become a HUGE fan and look forward to many more shows.

This is so funny because George Clooney was my neighbor growing up and he couldn’t carry a tune to save his life. Wish Billy had been around then!
I am going to ask George if he watched this. If not, tell him too.
From what I understand, he offered to sing in the movie. They heard him sing and said, "No, thank you."
Talk about giving people their moneys worth !!!!
