I ❤️that elf primer too! Out of all my primers, that elf one is my favorite 😊 I actually really like the smell- it smells fruity to me!
ELF Poreless? Yes - it smells like a lighter version of Pine Sol... to me, but I agree - it is an excellent primer for a more dewy and luminescent finish. I have more oily skin, so the jury is still out on it. I haven't worn it yet all day to really see how long it wears with my skin type. But it does amazing things when you patch test this on your hand. it may be a solution for a lot of people who are looking for something to smooth and even tone skin under foundation. The smell evaporates nicely when this dries down, it is barely noticeable after it dries.
I've tried the ELF foundation primer in the pan too, that one is nice. Jeffrey Star compared that with a high end primer and he gave ELF a thumb's up! I tried that one too, but it is a bit oily/shiny on me -- it didn't make the cut for my oily skin type.
I like Elf's primers. I did use Mac skin base visage for a while.. but they test on animals.. so... Screw them.
I recommend Milani too! they are cruelty free :)
what drugstore foundations do you use with your elf primers as i have the elf poreless primer and was wondering what the best foundation to use with it tia

How do you apply the baby skin instant pore eraser and the shave balm to your skin ? Do you like mix them together first or apply them individually to your skin in a specific order ?
Monique Petralba I apply them individually It doesn’t matte the order! I apply the baby skin in my t zone where I have more visible pores and I apply the shave balm everywhere and then pat it in

Rosa Sanchez I noticed that if you apply a lot. Then I tried using a tiny amount just on my cheek area and nose where I have more pores.
I use the Maybelline Baby Skin just on my nose and it works fine. (I don’t have oily skin, and my nose is the only part of my face where any primer is helpful.)
which one would you say is the best out of all the primers?
sherlyn padilla it depends on what you are looking for. Glowy and smoothing: Milani, smoothing: maybelline, long lasting : L’Oréal

Yeaa i used that primer also the maybelline since i got alot of pores cause i made mistakes before to do the skincare and maybelline pore eraser helps me to do my makeups everyday ❤

I’m not the type to use foundation I prefer bb cream for now but what primer would best or do I not really need primer when using bb cream?
Jenifer Ledezma since bb creams are lighter and dont last as long I’d suggest using a light primer like even the L’Oréal matte one
I know this video is like 2 years old and you might not be using the same primer but what is your favorite matte look, long lasting and pore minimizing primer now?

Are you supposed to put primer on and let it dry off then put foundation or put foundation on it instantly?
I would recommend letting it dry for about 30-60 seconds!

Will these work for oily skin?
The matte and pore filling/smoothing ones will. If you have oily skin you might not like the dewy primers I mentioned
