The Hawaiians (and part Hawaiians) need to get their children prepared for life by studying in school and acquiring a skill whether it is vocational or academic. I am 86 years old and part Hawaiian and noticed in my early childhood that only the Chinese and Japanese studied hard at school. The other races were not interested in learning. They only wanted to play. As the decades rolled by, it seems that the culture has not change over the years. You don't see many Asians homeless or am I wrong. I chose to follow the Asians and prepared myself. It is just like the story of the ant and the grasshopper. The Hawaiians are still holding out as the land of their ancestors had been stolen. That is true, but as history teaches us, the Hawaiians are not the only ones who couldn't hold on to their lands. The Jews are the only ones that I know who reclaim their land, but they had to fight a war to get it.

Those modest houses will house teachers and professors that will teach Polynesian students. Provide them degrees in Engineering, Business, Liberal arts. This education will lift these students and their families out of poverty.

Now she and her family can live off the land. You won’t be homeless. Just live outside. You claim to be Hawaiian. So be Hawaiian and keep doing nothing. That’s what you guys have been doing for over a hundred years and now you want all the handouts you can most possibly get. Auwe.
