"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" isn't part of the Creepypasta story, it's part of the game itself. It's said by the Happy Mask Salesman whenever Link fails to save Termina and Dies, it's also said at the start of the game when the player first enters Temina.

sushimaster He talked and showed BEN. I'm scared shitless whenever I hear the song of unhealing...But idk. DD isn't someone who'd go ahead and jumpscare you or something. Atleast I trusted him and I was not disappointed.
I recently have seen a video of someone doing a series of events in the Gold Saucer to recover Aeris (Aerith). It was rather in depth, and she resurfaces with a dialogue between her and Cloud.
Magnavox Odyssey Actually, there are high notes. Binaural beats. Kids can hear higher pitched noises than adults most of the time, so the higher pitched notes in the song caused headaches and other symptoms. They changed it mostly cause their demographic was younger kids susceptible to the pitches.
Not only is it true but it wasn't just proven true in 2013 or whatever date people have been saying. There are public records documenting the dig... From when it happened... Decades ago... It was never a myth. Everyone replying to you keeps either saying it was proven after this video or shortly before. It was never needed to be proven because there was nothing mythical about it. The documents have always existed online with a tiny bit of research.
#3 This not a myth, they have been found just this past month. A long with one or more game title I forget the story, but I did read that it was in fact found.
***** You're digging far too deep into it. I am well aware that this video was created prior to the excavation in New Mexico. I was only stating that the ET cartridges were actually found and that propagating this as still being a myth would be a fallacy. "The more you know" kind of thing. That's all.
I think I'm right and my opinion isn't going to change, so we shall agree to disagree. If that's promoting ignorance than so be it. I have no desire to argue this matter.
And two months after this video, they dug up the landfill and found the E.T. cartridges. Oops, TheDDGuides www.cnet.com/news/found-ataris-e-t-games-dug-up-from-new-mexico-landfill/
No, it wasn't. At the time it happened it was in the news, it was factual. Atari even confirmed it. It turned into urban myth when people forgot about the headlines, but that's not the same as rumors. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_video_game_burial
If you go to Netflix and look up the documentary called Atari: Game Over, it will show the digging of the landfill in New Mexico and finding thousands of the ET games as well as other Atari games. The rumor was true and it took a dedicated man years to study exactly where they were buried. They asked a programmer if he could complete ET in 5 weeks to be ready for Christmas, he did. Steven Spielberg himself played the game and approved of it. The problem was the movie came out and people expected it to be a lot better and more like the movie. Millions of copies were sold, but then came the returns, almost all of them. The original CEO was sued by investors for selling all of his stock just before it crashed. A new CEO was hired but all he did was gut the company and that turned into the end of Atari. According to a lot of the original programmers who appear in the documentary, there were worse games that came out on Atari than ET, it was the timing of Christmas and the movie. All of the games except for a select few became the property of the city with the land fill who at the time said they were planning to sell them on eBay.
***** I'm amazed he didn't go into their mean spirited joke in the sequel, where they released a FAKE nude code. When inputted, she instantly exploded.
The Aerith myth will always be number one IMO. And they DID actually find the ET landfill. However it didn't contain millions of copies, but hundreds. Still, the myth is true.
I remember the golden warthog myth in Halo 2. I was young, but I remember some dipshit convinced me he worked for Bungie and spent all fuckin night with my friend and me trying to unlock it with a cone. Just to end up telling us he was joking. I think back and wonder why I cared about a golden warthog in the first place haha.
He could've totally helped. There were many people on the site and he could've been one. Also, my mom is friends with Kevin Costner. It's totally possible. Kevin has friends.
Here's one I've known since the first Pokémon games came out, but I did not know it was just a myth until only a few years ago: They say that mashing the A or B buttons or pressing down, or some odd combination would guarantee an easier catch when the Pokeball is thrown. Turns out it's not true, but I think the same amount of people who blow on the cartridge (also guilty as charged ^^; have tried to find this combo. There was also the infamous rumor about the "Pikablue", an urban legend that came out when in Japan the first Joto Pokémon came out, and in the US, people that got a hold of a Marrill card (it was in Japanese, so no one knew it was even called Marrill) thought that you could turn Pikachu into a water type by doing something in the Safari Zone (at least that's how they told me)
ok pixie the combo for a easy capture is to press a and b at the same time and pressing the arrow keys side to side as the pokeball moves. And it does work or well for fire red since that is how i caught 5 chansey's 1 tauros 1 scyther 1 kangaskan and uno ultra ball moltres articuno zapdos and mewtwo
PixiePrincess501 Actually, they might. If not, it's a HUGE coincidence... I've experimented a few times trying to catch a Pokemon. 6 or 7 times in a row, it'd break out with no buttons being pressed, but the moment I do the hold LR when the ball opens to the moment it closes, then rapidly tap A "code," it stays in, 9 times out of 10.
Number 4: You are wrong! The ET cartridges were recently dug up and they were dumped! Here is my proof: www.cp24.com/polopoly_fs/1.1794245!/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_620/image.jpg
I love the lavender town theme though I know it was a story about it killing people but I love how it sounds when it starts playing with the little echo so I’m WEIRD
That's just a theory, and was disproven by a medical student in the comment section. I can't remember what they said exactly, but basically they debunked the Cloud drowned Aeris myth thing
FYI they dug up that landfill and did find E.T. games, but they also found lots of other stuff too. It basically was a total warehouse dump and they found a few 100 or 1000 games if I recall.
Psychotic Otaku well you can like still the Creepy pasta, creepy pastas are fake stories people make up generaly (sometimes made by paranoid people thou) , sure there have been few incedents where it was real but only those who had logical excplanations was real, but even though the Ben one is false I still think the story behind it is cool.
they DID find a bunch of e.t's in a dump..... took ages...but i saw it with me own eyes, and alot of people say that e.t. wasn't really why atari crashed, but rather one of many straws.
ULTRALISK BUILDER The CEO of the company sold his stock just before Atari took a dive on the market and was sued. They brought in a new CEO who gutted Atari, ending it's future.
Tomb Raider was actually designed on Sega Saturn hardware, exclusively for a Sega Saturn release. That was the plan, however last minute Ubisoft told developers to make a PlayStation version, because the PSone was outselling the Saturn. it was only after seeing the sales on both systems, and confirming that Sony was the clear winner in that generation, they stuck with Sony for it's sequels. It would be more appropriate to say Tomb Raider was a Sega Saturn game, that happened to be on the PSone.
L is Real 2401 is a reference to the release date of Paper Mario. It came out February 5, 2001 (it was 1 day late). The line after L is Real is in Paper M(unknown, probably ario).
I remember talking to a friend over the phone who had Internet at the time, because I didn't. And he had found an extremely ridiculous, as well as very long way, to unlock Luigi. I recorded him over the phone with my mini tape recorder so I could play it back as I adventured through the game in attempt of doing all of the items listed. I mustve tried 100 times, for hours. That definitely deserves the number one spot. So insane
Jerstah phucku It was proven in 2014, not 2013. I don't know where people got their information from - but it was discovered in April of 2014. www.cbc.ca/news/world/atari-games-buried-in-landfill-net-37k-on-ebay-1.2837083
I've seen Herobrine after the devs told us that it was a hoax. I posted a legit picture of Herobrine in the forums but hours later the admins deleted the post and they prohibit me from posting for a month. I saw him in a multiplayer server. He doesn't white eyes tho just a blank face(which is even creepier). I still have the server but I don't have the guts to open it. But that is the only time I've encountered herobrine.
Hey Dolan, the sign from Super Mario 64 is the same sign used in TLoZ: OoT. I dont remember where but i think it tells you how to get to a certain place. And when I looked at it i actually did read "Eternal Star" which would fit into the Mario Universe and only when I looked around with the camera it looked like "L is real 2401" but not that much. I always read "Eternal Star"
Daniel K he can't be killed he came on my and a freinds world once and build weird stuff like cages with pigs in spawn blocks on the surface and a wierd mine in one of them massive trenches with supports and everything! he even destroyed my freinds hotel by putting loads of lava and redstone torches and a sign that said: "James go away"

There is some truth the Lavender Town music. The Japanese version was slightly different than International release, but it was mostly changed because it was a little too high pitched. Several other tracks were changed through out the game as well, so it's not just that one.
You didn't have to win a tournament they just gave it to you at the place where the tournament was held. I know cause i went to a few. Even won two badges. Ah childhood and pokemon in its golden age.
The blowing trick is not a myth. Sure, if you are the type who spit when you blow, that might do more harm than good, but I have had many instances where it helped to blow. So I don't care what anyone says.
The air that we breath contains tiny water particles that collect when we exhale, so you're still putting moisture on the cartridges insides. And he already claimed that the moisture helped align the pins, but aged the cartridge.
There are actually several battles that can be initiated like the mew glitchThey're basically generated by certain values in the code, and we just happened to luck out with one of them being mew
I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but Aeris was a useless character unless you bothered to waste hours to level her up. Though I was shocked with her death when I first saw it, I eventually realized it was no big deal, because as I mentioned, she was useless.
Actually you're wrong about the moral Kombat blood code. I was at my cousin's house as a kid and he found the blood code and IT WORKED PERFECTLY. I never forgot that. And you can still get two mews before Misty in RBY. I still do to this day when I play the games.
ET cartridges were actually buried in New Mexico
Eric Varela A friend of mine actually bought one of them for like $170 or some dollars
Yeah, that was some lazy research.
+Beunibster
In all fairness though, they were found two months after this video was uploaded
+Eric Varela I saw that
+Joost H In even more fairness, there's never been any evidence to the -contrary-
Industry people have always confirmed that the carts were indeed buried in the landfill along with a bunch of other unsellable games. I think the story was just such a funny anecdote that people starting believing it to be just a myth. So yeah, this is definitely an example of poor research on the creator's side.
Unfortunately that's a horribly common thing when it comes to video game "journalism", which is rarely taken seriously. Another obvious example would be the big "video game crash", which is also related to the ET game.
In truth, the video game market was never in any danger, and the impact of this event has been written up by fake historians.
They have actually dug the Atari ET games up on television as a documentary. You can watch it on Netflix.
The one about the ET games is true. If you kept up with news, you'd know that they recently dug up the games.
arose92795 Published on Feb 18, 2014, sh
MaliciousPvP It was discovered in 2013.
"if you kept up with the news, you'd know that they recently dug up the games." How you said it, it seemed like it was recently.
***** look it up. It was all over gaming news awhile back. I think I originally found out from the game theorist channel.
This was made more than a year ago :P
I'm absolutely digging Dolan's vocal delivery here. He sounds relaxed, yet polished, and, save for an error here and there, he's like a good radio host who knows his daily monologue material very well, and delivers it in friendly fashion that keeps you interested.
Wrong. One important detail about L is real 2041 is that it also reads Eternal Star at an angle. And 2041 is not the year. L is real means that Luigi will be a playable character in an adventure game. 2041. Break down the numbers. 2 means February. 04 is the day in February. 1 is the year of 2001. 2/4/01. UR FUCKING AMAZING
Gerald pena wft dude how the fuck did you figure that out u r a fuckin genius
Or 2041 or 2401 could be the amount of enemy sprites games are created from sprites there r multiple moving sprites like the penguin race ghost and bowser with the minions
Gerard Pena Wrong.
2041
2 0 4 1
2 x 0 = 0
0 + 4 = 4
4 - 1 = 3
Half Life 3 confirmed. It's ok, it's a common mistake.

Dude, the ET landfill was true...
DUDE!....
Sorry, I was stoned xD

The E.T cartridges were found a few months ago

RIIIIIGHHHT
Yep they excavated it and found the cartridges and everything.
April Pendley exactly
yeah it's true the place the games were located in a city of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
+godzilla martin -True- And the prices they were going for were incredible.A goldmine of crap.
When he said the bit about "L is real", am I the only one who thought Death Note? Maybe L and Kira will have their grand battle in the year 2041! Lol.
I thought the same lol
+Dark Angel Bakura me too LOL . death note FOREVER!!!!!
Igotbored but did he?
+Dark Angel Bakura L is real, don't do bad shit. You'll be Noted.
also, supposedly they have confirmed that the E.T. landfill is in fact real. the excavation turned up copies of the game.
i saw that too dude, i seen game play of that game and im not surprised they buried them all
It's hard to trust the rest of the "myths" when the ET one was actually true.
so i lavender town it was just over exaggerated
The first two are very popular creepypasta stories.
Lavender Town Syndrome and Ben Drowned are the proper names
"They probably didn't bury the E.T. cartridges"
They did lol
they found one that worked in new mexico
i know dolan has probably already heard this, but they did find the et games
HardestTooBeat This video was before they found that out.
RothGaming | Gamer and a RUclipsr! I know. Thats why i said he probably already knows this.
HardestTooBeat how many gamer they found
DOOM gamer87 I dotn remember, but there were at least a hundred
HardestTooBeat Wait, that mean this game is very very rare and there's nobody who played it ?
Guys what about club penguin tipping the iceberg?? That was like the definition of my childhood
No one gives a flying fuck about club penguin, its not even a game. its a glorified childs chat room.
TheLastRaven6 1v1 card battle m8
Didn't it actually tip once? I remember just sitting there and drilling at it for an hour when I was a child.
Kracso your on
Ommgg lool ikrrr
Kids were killing themselves. "This is a fun little myth"
Number 4 has been proved to be correct -_-
I'm sure this was sometime after the video's posting.
Number 1 is correct too.
Yup!
True. This video was made before the landfill full of ET games was found though.
KeiyarlaDraga doesn't change the fact that he talked about it like it was all myth and likely false. If you really know the history of it it was traceable the whole time, and he said there was no evidence of it. Just shows poor research
dude, the ET one is actually real, they found them and dug them up! no joke look it up if you don't believe me
tillyiswhite This video was made before they dug it up! No joke, use common sense, if you don't believe me.
Pit DarkAngel alright, don't be a grammer nazi. i just thought people might want to know that, i wasn't getting at him, jesus!
tillyiswhite How was I being a Grammar Nazi? I didn't correct any word U said, I just told U to use common sense. Maybe learn to read, before judging others.
Pit DarkAngel oh sorry i read it wrong but still you were being a douche
tillyiswhite I was being a douche, because you sounded like you made the discovery of the year.
man, as soon as I heard that lavender town music my creepy gaming moments of my childhood came back. by far, the most creepy song in a video game. or can you think of a creepier one?

You hate me? D: CURSE YOU CREEPY PASTA!!
epiczoroark Wow that was very rude you should Apologize to ben

no, ben has always creped me out. he was my first night mare when I was little. I found him online when I was little. I didn't play Zelda for a month. LOL XD
B Gu
He WAS scared of hit when he was, like, eight.
I watched a documentary about Atari and it showed a group of excavators finding the buried E.T. games. So it turns out it wasn't a myth.
What if "L is real 2041" was really supposed to say "L is real 2014" and we read it wrong?
The Year of Luigi runs between 2013 and 2014.
You've got a point there
That's probably why Luigi has such a "stink face" in the new Mario Kart. No-one notices him anymore.
I agree. a lot of things have been popping up about luigi nowadays. Btw, Big Fan!
It is confirmed! Jerry peer will be a gamer and a vampire goat :P
Hi Jerry I love ur channel
no the E.T. landfill is true a month or two ago there was a video at E3 or somewhere that showed them and a bunch of people who went to New Mexico and dug up where it was and many copies were found
***** I know I was just stating how it was true
Freelancer837 Yep :)
***** *BROFIST*
Freelancer837 Speaking of spelling, you misused the word your, you should've said you're.
And apparently they're going to hold an auction for it
Am I the only one that when the Lavender Town Theme comes up, I start to dance, and sing it...? That is actually my favorite tune from a video game to date.

The ET games in the landfill in New Mexico turned out to be true
They found the ET Landfill... It also had some more Atari 2600 games in it other than ET

I am only twelve, but am a Nintendo fanatic, and I have read the story and played the game. Even I knew that it was not from the Creepypasta
Am I the only one that likes the Lavender Town song?:/
Juan Fuentes nope
Nope.
Juan Fuentes nope, i find it to be quite nice in a metal remix.
Juan Fuentes No. I love that song!
actually came down to the comments to say that i found it kinda relaxing!
The ET cartridges were found weren't they? I had a case report in Modern History about this...
Yes. And there is a documentary about it on Netflix. They dig it up and find the cartridges.
Phillip Phillips
Then how is it a myth lul
GrimBubbles That's exactly my point. It isn't a myth.
Phillip Phillips
Mine as well
It may have been found after this video was published. Im not sure WHEN they found those, but yeah... Not a myth anymore! :-) - Cheers!
This was one of the first RUclips videos I ever watched. Not a bad start I'd say!
ET was buried in a landfill hahahaha they dug it up a few weeks ago
Yeah was just going to say that XD Looks like someone else also knows their stuff.

that E.T game was foun in mexico where people claimed it was. google it, and see for yourselfes
It was found in the US state of New Mexico...
"L is real 2041"?..gasp! L from Death Note!? Omg! D-: (no, i'm crazy. nobody saw me)
I was thinking about that too lol

Magnavox Odyssey Actually, there are high notes. Binaural beats. Kids can hear higher pitched noises than adults most of the time, so the higher pitched notes in the song caused headaches and other symptoms. They changed it mostly cause their demographic was younger kids susceptible to the pitches.
I hear the high notes ;((( I have a headache
Cyan Tanker But the suicide myths are fake
Magnavox Odyssey I know. The high pitched frequencies giving people headaches and stuff is not.
FUNNILY ENOUGH, the ET landfill one was true. It was actually real- there's videos of when it was uncovered.
I was about to say, I read an article on a news site a while back where they found ET games in a landfill in Mexico I think it was
yeah it was in a landfill i think near New Mexico
I live 2 and half hours away from where they were excavated. lol
It was an xbox event :l
I know I saw that show
"The harsh reality is: Luigi just isn't in the f*cking game..."
:D:D:D
When i was younger i turned i turned the noise down fully when i ever ended up in lavender town it was just creepy
and they actually did find a copy of the et game in the landfill not to long ago
UrbanBandit97 they found hundreds
+UrbanBandit97 Really!?
dakota spell yeah
How do you make a name blue tell me cus its os confusing
The ET landfill was recently found. Awesome video!
After hearing the Lavender Town music I feel kinda light-headed
***** xD Ikr
That wasbt the original japanese song so.
Same here...
Chill it happens to me too its just anxiety causing that
***** o_o What
They actually did excavate the area and found a whole bunch of ET games
Does he know they found the cartridges in the landfill?
Ava Catherine Published on Feb 18, 2014.
MaliciousPvP proved true in 2013
Jerstah phucku Which is what's even weirder. There was a documentary about it and everything. How did DD not know?
Jerstah phucku
2014
Not only is it true but it wasn't just proven true in 2013 or whatever date people have been saying. There are public records documenting the dig... From when it happened... Decades ago... It was never a myth. Everyone replying to you keeps either saying it was proven after this video or shortly before. It was never needed to be proven because there was nothing mythical about it. The documents have always existed online with a tiny bit of research.
#3 This not a myth, they have been found just this past month. A long with one or more game title I forget the story, but I did read that it was in fact found.
You mean 4 it's four the one that's true
Zombiekilleryamato they actually found et cartridges in new Mexico. They dug around looking for them
Yes number 4, my bad.
And two months after this video, they dug up the landfill and found the E.T. cartridges. Oops, TheDDGuides
www.cnet.com/news/found-ataris-e-t-games-dug-up-from-new-mexico-landfill/
Unfortunately, DDguides couldn't have known about this and therefore couldn't include it into the video. but their facts aren't wrong.
Thing is, it wasn't just fabrications and rumors. It was well established as truth and he laughed it off.
Lol, still a rumor.
No, it wasn't. At the time it happened it was in the news, it was factual. Atari even confirmed it.
It turned into urban myth when people forgot about the headlines, but that's not the same as rumors.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_video_game_burial
Harry Potter nope
Am I the only one who enjoys lavender town's theme?
no actually quite an amount of people (including me) enjoy it
SpaceCorePlays Yay
I like it
Kill parents kill parents
Why are my hands red?
I cant help but twitch alot when I hear the song.... help im gonna die....
Was i not supposed to dance to the lavender town music
Probably not, but that's what you wanna do. \('-'\)
That music is so bad though...
\(*=*\)
SDH Assassin In my opinion i think its the paranoya (
Jamil ahmed I just don't think it's catchy. I think it sounds horrible. And you were close enough in your spellings. I could read it so it's fine.
Why would anyone even want a naked lara coft patch I mean do some people get off over skin coloured polygons?
***** I'm amazed he didn't go into their mean spirited joke in the sequel, where they released a FAKE nude code. When inputted, she instantly exploded.
CybeastID Yea I was hoping he was going to bring that up, I was honestly disappointed he didn't.
***** You have no idea my friend.
***** there's a little thing called "rule 34" that can satisfy those wanting a naked lara...
***** I think it was just for the sake of doing it like a five yea old saying OMG BOOBIES
Yeah I heard about that haha
The E.T. landfill myth isnt a myth. They actually found the cartridges.
If that Zelda one was real, I would have just erased the saves. Didn't think of that one, did you ghost?
He did. Read the creepypasta.
Also the creator himself admitted he faked it..
DUDE, think about it.... a blank cartridge with majora's mask in sharpie written on it? ROM HACK MUCH????
Umm... There is and always has been a blood code for the SNES version of Mortal Kombat. The Sega version allowed you to turn it on and off...
the E.T. Landfill in New Mexico is REAL!!!!! I know cause I helped dig it up
You bet your ass it is real ign did a video about it and it was this huge news when they were digging and bam they found the games.
it is true and " Seth Olsen " is right. I saw it at the same place
Bullshit.
according to gameinformer Microsoft is making it into a documentary for Xbox video
There was also the infamous rumor about the "Pikablue", an urban legend that came out when in Japan the first Joto Pokémon came out, and in the US, people that got a hold of a Marrill card (it was in Japanese, so no one knew it was even called Marrill) thought that you could turn Pikachu into a water type by doing something in the Safari Zone (at least that's how they told me)
So pressing the buttons doesn't help when catching pokemens? :( LAME!!
Harry Potter I know, right? But it kinda gave us more confidence when catching the pokémon thinking the ab buttons worked...
ok pixie the combo for a easy capture is to press a and b at the same time and pressing the arrow keys side to side as the pokeball moves. And it does work or well for fire red since that is how i caught 5 chansey's 1 tauros 1 scyther 1 kangaskan and uno ultra ball moltres articuno zapdos and mewtwo
PixiePrincess501
Actually, they might. If not, it's a HUGE coincidence... I've experimented a few times trying to catch a Pokemon. 6 or 7 times in a row, it'd break out with no buttons being pressed, but the moment I do the hold LR when the ball opens to the moment it closes, then rapidly tap A "code," it stays in, 9 times out of 10.
are you sure?
Number 4: You are wrong! The ET cartridges were recently dug up and they were dumped! Here is my proof: www.cp24.com/polopoly_fs/1.1794245!/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_620/image.jpg
this video was posted in febuary so there was no way for him to know it was accually true
JonSingsBway So it's more like an update
I love the lavender town theme though I know it was a story about it killing people but I love how it sounds when it starts playing with the little echo so I’m WEIRD
I heard that they actually found the E.T cartidges.
+VanillaHetalianOwl They did, buried in a landfill in Mexico i think. They made a documenter on it; its called Game Over i think.
Kelsium yeah its on Netflix
Laughing cause the E.T. games were actually found
*AHEM* Cloud killed Aeris by drowning her. THE END
Does that make a difference?
IDK
Game theory?
That's just a theory, and was disproven by a medical student in the comment section. I can't remember what they said exactly, but basically they debunked the Cloud drowned Aeris myth thing
FYI they dug up that landfill and did find E.T. games, but they also found lots of other stuff too. It basically was a total warehouse dump and they found a few 100 or 1000 games if I recall.
OML I love the Ben drowned creepypasta story :D
well it turned out to be nothing but a mod someone made for an emulator game though
+Jotaro Kujo really!!! Wow I actually thought it was real -_-
Psychotic Otaku well you can like still the Creepy pasta, creepy pastas are fake stories people make up generaly (sometimes made by paranoid people thou) , sure there have been few incedents where it was real but only those who had logical excplanations was real, but even though the Ben one is false I still think the story behind it is cool.
Psychotic Otaku weeb lmao
The ET being buried in New Mexico was not a myth. They recently dug it up and found them.
This was uploaded way back in february, before the catridges were discovered
Blowing on cartridge in most cases didn't help but rather hurt it?! MY Childhood was a LIE
I used to do that blowing on Cartridge thing back in my Nintendo days...
...good times!
You know that the ET Cartridges have been found right?
Too bad the creator of BEN DROWNED said it was fake :(. Then again would have been a dick thing to never say anything.
*****
I know just wanted to give my opinion xD
+jassie138 Everyone with a brain should have known it was fake.
+skudzer1985 Yes, but even with stuff like slenderman. What if...?
+jassie138 Slenderman was even proving fake, the creator even said it was fake.
*****
But.... What if?
they DID find a bunch of e.t's in a dump..... took ages...but i saw it with me own eyes, and alot of people say that e.t. wasn't really why atari crashed, but rather one of many straws.
ULTRALISK BUILDER so yea.
ULTRALISK BUILDER oh and it has a bunch of other atari stuff 2..... like yars revenge, that wasnt even a straw.
That is kind of stupid. Why couldn’t they have it on both consoles?
looks like they just found the E.T dump site lol
Number 5 is why you get the NES-101. It's a top-loader.
L is Real 2401 is a reference to the release date of Paper Mario. It came out February 5, 2001 (it was 1 day late). The line after L is Real is in Paper M(unknown, probably ario).
freefun55 Well that's the closest thing anyone has gotten to the truth behind it.
I'm*, I'm so sorry I had to do it!!!!!
for some reason the lavender town music made my back hurt and as usual made me feel nauseous
+Authaeosplays You must have heard the stories. Power of suggestion.
true
+Authaeosplays how are you feeling
same here, but I keep twitching...
Madeline Lee Whenever I hear it, I just feel bored.
So insane
Number 4 has been proven correct. Microsoft produced a documentary about the excavation. -_-
This was made before it was proven
He says the same thing in a video made this year.
Hispanic Taco it was proven in 2013, this video was made in 2014 according to other comments above this one.
Jerstah phucku
It was proven in 2014, not 2013. I don't know where people got their information from - but it was discovered in April of 2014.
www.cbc.ca/news/world/atari-games-buried-in-landfill-net-37k-on-ebay-1.2837083
011010010ll I had a discussion back a few years ago with a bud of mine that showed me because I didnt believe him
i half expected to see herobrine in there. :/
That was proven false too quick for it to be a myth
It's still undeniably a myth. There are still people who think herobrine exists and creepypastas etc are still produced. No idea why -_-
WatsonisawesomeMC But it's so easy to look in code to see it's not there at all.
MinesNotYers May yah.. true.
I heard this crazy rumor that Samus is actually a girl.
No? Really??? Woooooowwwwww i never new that
lol
Are you serious dude mind=blown
it is look at 0 suit samus
she is
ET cartridges in landfill was confirmed and some were recovered on national tv with heavy equipment.
Blowing in the cartridge always fixed it for me :-)
Me too! :p
Brandon A As long as you keep it a dry breath it works.
Would you like to buy a rock that keeps away tigers?
Zachary Amaranth What does it do? How do you use it?
david Adeoyo Well, you don't see any tigers around, do you?
Hey Dolan, the sign from Super Mario 64 is the same sign used in TLoZ: OoT. I dont remember where but i think it tells you how to get to a certain place. And when I looked at it i actually did read "Eternal Star" which would fit into the Mario Universe and only when I looked around with the camera it looked like "L is real 2401" but not that much. I always read "Eternal Star"
GermanBudi Its reused in Dodongos Cavern. As are the doors in Wet Dry World from Mario 64 they are used at the Forest Temple
Yeah, thats what i meant
GermanBudi Theres an edit button
O.o Wut
Kids.
What about Herobrine? We will still never know how he randomly spawns in victims worlds...
He isn't real. It's only a mod
Anto crafter he's real
The Nethermancer a guy killed him
Daniel K he can't be killed he came on my and a freinds world once and build weird stuff like cages with pigs in spawn blocks on the surface and a wierd mine in one of them massive trenches with supports and everything! he even destroyed my freinds hotel by putting loads of lava and redstone torches and a sign that said: "James go away"

There is some truth the Lavender Town music. The Japanese version was slightly different than International release, but it was mostly changed because it was a little too high pitched. Several other tracks were changed through out the game as well, so it's not just that one.
"L is real 2014" actually says "Eternal Star" which is the name of the star that the plaque is on
2041*
it's been known since 2004.
Kat the wolf/Toy Bonnie Yeah, but still
You didn't have to win a tournament they just gave it to you at the place where the tournament was held.
I see. Whatever the case though, if it works it works.
PikaLink91 that's what he said, in the short term it works...but it also causes their lifespan to be shorter
13dirty666 Well, what else should I do? Put it next to a fan?
PikaLink91 You're on the internet dude, figure it out yourself. I'm just repeating what the video says
There are actually several battles that can be initiated like the mew glitchThey're basically generated by certain values in the code, and we just happened to luck out with one of them being mew
also the ET thing was true
I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but Aeris was a useless character unless you bothered to waste hours to level her up. Though I was shocked with her death when I first saw it, I eventually realized it was no big deal, because as I mentioned, she was useless.
Well it looks like you got no hate! Surprising for RUclips don't ya think?
Rule #3-
If you put anything along the lines of "I'm going to get hate for this," you will get no hate.
Lucky me
yagamijase Very luck you.
Poison
Um...okay
E.T. myth was prroven!
Actually you're wrong about the moral Kombat blood code. I was at my cousin's house as a kid and he found the blood code and IT WORKED PERFECTLY. I never forgot that. And you can still get two mews before Misty in RBY. I still do to this day when I play the games.
