Absolutely, they need to include spine designs in solicitations. If I had known this had a spine completely out of sync with the other Clone Saga/Ben reilly omnis I would not have preordered this cover. Quite annoyed
I preordered the DM cover edition because I prefer it over the standard edition. That said, it's too bad the Spider-Man font on the spine is yellow. I wish it was red.
I just got a copy of the old version of this in the recent-ish "Nick and Dent" sale at CheapGraphicNovels just a few months ago. Wonder if I should've just waited for this now, since I like the DM cover a lot more, lol. Looking forward to reading through the Clone Saga and Ben Reilly books, but I need to wait for my Clone Saga vol 1 preorder to arrive ( _hopefully really soon!_ ) before I can even start.
Hey Omar, I wanted to ask you something about the reading order of Spider-Man, regarding this omnibus and Ben Reilly's omnibus vol. 1 as well. Where would they fit in the Spidey reading order? I've put them right after the first two Clone Saga omnibuses, and right before the Venomnibus vol. 1 (I've also added the Venom books too). Would that be the correct order? Please let me know. A chunk of the John Byrne omni takes place between this & JMS 1, but the mapping of that book is all over the place and that book has been OOP for years. Hopefully we'll get that period collected properly at some stage
Zeb wells to me is VERY inconsistent. I loved the 1st ark, issue 900 was the worst celebratory so far, 7-8 were very good, 9 was terrible. Worst issue that made no sense, 10 was a good tie in but a bit random. Need to read the rest but honestly I have the first 5 trades and might stop after collecting amazing Spider-Man for a long time. Dunno if it gets better post Dead Reckoning or not?

Ben Reilly 1 & 2 are essentially clone saga 3 & 4 as the issues follow on directly after them
Why is the spine yellow? I hope 4hat every volume has a differenr colour and its not just a single volume thats odd one out.
