I love what you and Slater were talking about saying how you wish everyone was so nice meeting each other on the street. I'm from a small town in Mississippi and everyone smiles and says hey to each other on the streets even if you don't know them. Its one of the best parts about being from a small town. And then I travel to other places and people look at me like I'm crazy for smiling at the haha.

And it's common for groups or young people to travel around together if they click at their hostel/hotel, as someone who travels a lot i can say ive often made friends at places and hung out w them or even traveled elsewhere w them
