Bunny chow is one of my favorite! The curry soaks in the bread And every bite is so yummy and tasty! In India u don't get this! But u can make it at home. With regular currys we can make bunny chow at home ! Simple but delicious! 🤗👍long long time back I had this in Durban .
i have had this in Durban. for a simpler version you can just get a jar of your favourite curry spiced type sauce. cook your meat choice. beef/pork/chicken/lamb. Add potato chunks, and onion and tomato,. (add Durban spices if you can find it) and get some bread . it isn't exactly the same, but very very close enough .
Now i want some! I'm out in the States and will have to see if i can find the ingredients, if not...will have to improvise! Thanks for this video,i have subscribed.
Hi I live in UK looks really delicious just one question I have an electric pressure cooker how long would I cook the meat and also at high or low pressure?

As an Indian, I've never heard of a Bunny Chow before, the first time I heard of it, I seriously thought it was a Chinese Rabitt meat noodle dish, then I came to know it's a South African dish, which I again dismiss it as some White/Black African dish. I never thought it origins lies with Indian expats in SA.
Lamb curry stuffed into an edible bowl of bread sounds like my kind of food.
The editing on this is world class 👍 can't wait to try it now that Ramadan is done
African Bunny Chow is absolutely delicious. If you love the flavor of lamb, goat or any kind of mutton, you'll love this dish.

Would 1kg beef or lamb mince work with this?. Just thinking as a alternative? Because lamb mutton where I'm from is expensive
GOD that looks SOOO good!

Definately not durban curry
Not durbs bunny
Annoying music, Lack of ingredient list and no text version of the recipe.
Not an authentic Durban bunny...we never use broth in curries...never
The original bunny chow was a strictly vegetarian dish. Perhaps you should have highlighted the vegetarian version first.
