Wow!! Just discovered ..and a woman ..learning a lot!! .. LOVE ur channel!!. cool music ..can hear you clearly ..so Thank you very much...very strong fit body as well!! Superb!! 💪👌😊🤸
Thanks alot man. For a long time i have been doing crunches and it took a long time to see even a small result and the worst thing is i read a lot about chances of back injuries. But these workout seems much more doable and risk free... Thankyou
Thank you for your channel. I just started working out again and completed the chest workout routine yesterday and today the bis and tris. I love the anatomy and physiology aspect of your teachings along with the routine simplicity. Thank you and I look forward to completing many of your other workout guides for the different fundamental muscle groups.
Love your channel. I love that you use science and cite it. I love simplifying everything to 3 exercises. That perfect for most attention spans and for a beginner.
ive just started back to working out and i absolutely love your videos it just stright up good workout advice and no BS , im really glad i seen your videos , also ive just purchased your book BULK UP FAST , Best workout videos ive ever seen on you tube , KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ALAIN !!!!!!!
I'm an ab wimp. If I go too hard with ab movements I get massive cramps. That said, there's something about the cable crunch that doesn't do anything for me. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I can do that movement for many, many reps and I barely feel a thing. I'll try to concentrate on spine flexion.
I never trained my abs, mainly because I couldn't get motivated for ab training because I couldn't see my abs. Now I can see my abs I really wished I had trained them. They are built in the gym and revealed in the kitchen. I now have lacklustre abs but the motivation to train them is very strong.
Lol... well I thought the narrator was kidding... that's why I gave up the punch face routine about 10 years ago... very counterproductive for the future
Abs are made in the kitchen...feel free to swing and see what happens. You know the intent of the statement is you will never see them unless you are eating the right thing (like the round belly power lifters you refer to). People ask me about ab exercises and I tell them pull ups are the best for upper abs and squats and lunges for the lower. They always think I am joking them.
the aim of abs is hollow body position also up body involve the seratus muscle the diagonal of abs and leg raises as straight you can enforce low abs both involving agonist and antagonist muscle front and back
Someone pls tell me why I suddenly found myself reaching for and eating a blueberry MUFFIN of all things while I was watching this video on gaining ABS?!? 😁🤪 I'm going to "fitness hell" for this 😫 lol
There is a reason why they say that abs are made in the kitchen. Try to follow my analogy: I am going to prepare you a lasagnia (and my lasagnias are loved by everyone who eats) with my recipe. It looks good and it is delicious. If i prepare it the same way but before i serve i will cut it into little pieces and turn it into smudge and serve you will not want to eat it, eventhough it has the same nutrition value and tastes just as good. Any lazy guy listening to you would start to work-out and loose his focus on the kitchen and have bloated abs at best. So what you say is 20% right, since the rest of the job will depend on what you eat. And if your focus is bulking up, forget about six packs. you have to do it BEFORE bulking up since one requires negative calory intake, while bulking is just the opposite. Ofc. you will eventually get the abs as long as you commit to your work out, but one strategy will take a few months depending on your fat% the other will take 2 3 times longer or forever. This doesnt need rocket science to realize
Doing abs with a belly not exactly building nice abs. Need to eliminate the fat on top of it. Any recommendations on how to do that. I'm already trying to eat right. Just need a tip on how to burn the fat off to see the abs.
I have a buddy that has only done the mentioned compound lifts without ever doing direct ab training and he has amazing abs. So it can absolutely be done as long as the body fat% is low enough.
What about the various ab machines in the gym? They may shorten the movement, but they also make it almost impossible to do the exercise improperly, are easy to add resistance, and are safe.
1) abs aren't made in the kitchen... all of you need to see a nutrition. A proper diet (timing and ratio of c,p,f) will make a difference when developing a solid core 2) People these days are forgetting cardio not just good for the abs but also for the mind and heart does not have to be running a power walk or playing some sort of sports is good enough 3) ab workout should consist of: A) compound workout (ex squats) B) Weighted move of both up/down, side to side, and twist example Russ ian twist C) balanced core workout of both hanging and pushing of the ground example hanging leg raises and plank
I like this channel. Just give the information out in a easy understandable way. Not some dude constantly flexing his car or talking about his bullshit lifestyle.
Of all the videos that I have seen on abs,it seems everybody has a “best” way or a “secret” way for the best exercise.I do six different exercises for a total of 100 reps each . It takes me about 20 mins. Once in a while I’ll switch to a different exercise.
Captains chair - you need to point your but hole towards the ceiling(as best you can) otherwise it’s just a hinge movement that does little for your abs.
Will it still be effective if I still have belly fat? I was thinking of doing cardio work outs to slim down first, then after a remarkable result, then should I proceed with this work out?
You didn't pay attention. Only doing squats and heavy compound movements will not create the abs people want. They need to be done in succession with the twisting oblique exercises and loaded crunching motions.
Do i have to lose belly fat to have a ripped stomach so then i can build my abs easier ? My belly isn't really that fat but there are still bits of fat around my belly and waist, so how am i able to build abs ? Do i have to get rid off my belly fats first then build abs ?
Abs are made in the kitchen, I only do crunches and leg raises maybe 2 days a week and my abs look amazing since I've been able to maintain pretty low body fat through consistent dieting
Great video but i must correct you in that one, kitchen is 50% of your abs, you can't compare your triceps to your abs and think building then bigger will show them, your body does not focus to store fat in your triceps thats why even if you eat anything your triceps will alwzys be visible, but for abs another story, eating fats will just hide your abs no matter how big they are.

Could you advise on which home exercises to do to meet all the compound lifts as suggested
Love the cable crunch. Man i can hit so much weight. So much that i tried my own body weight and the cable pulled me along the floor
75 % - 80% kitchen and 20 - 25 % direct abs and compound lifts......both must be needed for great abs and small waist....
What about the various ab machines in the gym? They may shorten the movement, but they also make it almost impossible to do the exercise improperly, are easy to add resistance, and are safe.
Do you mean the one where you bend your back with as much weight as possible?

Dude, for cable crunch, the rope or bar is held at the back of the neck
You the Goat
You said to punch powerlifters in the face who tell you that squats build abs then you say to do squats for good abs.
squats activate them
Seriously what the actual fuck lol. Terrible.
He totally did...and the same with deadlifts..smh
He said if they say that's all you need.
